We all know that being prepared for a WDW is critical, no matter what aspects are important to you. But, after Fastpass+ was rolled out, I started feeling like a lot of opportunity to gain an advantage over the "wing it" crowd was lost. The evolution of the FP/LL system since then has been pretty confusing and annoying, and it made me realize how important it was for me to feel rewarded for arriving prepared and giving my family the best experience possible.

Going into our summer trip, we were able to budget for LLMP for most days of our trip, and I watched some great Youtube videos about how to navigate MDE and get the most out of booking/modify LLs. I feel like the current version of MDE is a perfect balance of being user-friendly to all but also set up to reward those who invested some extra time and effort to learn all the tricks and tips, like using the tip board to help grab a slot for a popular ride.

Our trip was great, and I really have no complaints about the LL system. While it still requires using your phone often at the parks, I never felt like it interfered with enjoying the moment. After scanning into a ride, I always had another LL booked before "How many?". There are also plenty of moments during the day to modify plans or spend a couple minutes trying to find an earlier time slot for SDD. I'd say, with a little persistence, we were able to get a more favorable slot or ride at least 90% of the time. One thing I need to study further for next time is the daily release times for additional LL slots. That could have made it easier to get same day LLs for Rat, Tiana's, and SDD.

I say this to encourage everyone who is a bit nervous about using MDE and LL to watch some YT videos in advance. It will really pay of, because there are features you would never know is there with just casual use. You will show up to the parks looking like a boss, as my daughter would say.

I am not sure if it's allowed but if so can you share which youtube vlogs had the best tips and/ or tricks?

We did Rat single rider and it worked well. Didn't want to waste a tier 1 on it since I don't think it's worth it.
How long have they had single rider? We weren’t able to ride it until late in our trip. We had no idea there was even a single rider option until some used hopped in and sat next to me.

We love to single rider Everest. It feels like the best kept secret at WDW. It’s rarely more than a 10 minute wait.

I’d be happy to, if it is allowed. I wasn’t sure, so I didn’t mention them, specifically. I don’t have any affiliation with them.
You are welcome to share YouTube links as long as they are not to your personal account.
