Feeling really sorry for myself

Having been feeling really under the weather for a few days (sore throat, high temperature, general aches and pains), I developed a rash yesterday so got an emergency appoinmtment at the docs. It turns out I've got tonsillitis and suspected scarlet fever. I've been signed off work till Monday and been given Pennicillin but still feel really poorly - and to top it all off, because of the rash, I look like a fat tomato

My boss was not at all happy when I phoned this morning to say I'd been signed off and I've spent the last hour Emailing him all the stuff that needs doing in the next couple of days. As a result, I now have a stinking headache so I'm off for a lie down.

Any chance of some pixie dust, if you've got some going spare? I really hope I'm better next week as I've got a lovely weekend planned next weekend

DD6 had streptococcol (sp?) and scarlet fever last November - believe me the "tomato" look will go away soon!
