Well, yesterday i was sent home from work (work in a school) because of a streaming cold and no voice, i felt bad leaving as i feel its kinda only a bad cold. I've just had to ring in again to have tomorrow off as i just have no voice and feel really crap. I don't ache but do feel hot and have ear ache, when i spoke to the secretary they told me non of them want it so stay home..sick:

I'm so bored and feeling very sorry for myself!:rolleyes:

My friend is off work today with the same symptoms as you Emily. Hope you feel better soon :hug:

Sorry you are feeling ill Em. I have the same thing only I went in to school (I'm not actually teaching today and tomorrow due to the large amount of paperwork at this time of year so I'm not passing the germs on to the kids, just to the office staff!! My ears are so blocked though people keep having to shout at me!! Quite funny really!)
I hope you feel better soon.

I was in bed all weekend and have struggled to work this week.. germ ridden of the world unite! :sick: drink plenty - non-alcoholic- ok maybe the odd glass for medicinal purposes! and rest! and DIS!

pixiedust: coming your way... so sorry you are not feeling well.. by the time you read this it is about midnite in UK... I hope you are getting a much needed rest... lots of warm tea with lemon... chamomile perhaps to sooth your system... lemon for ummph!! and some honey to fight whatever is brewing in there... I guess with the headache reading a good book is out of the picture.. maybe some soothing music to calm the soul.. and hopefully the day after tomorrow all this will be a thing of the past... :grouphug:
