Feeling old - has it been THAT long?

I find it distressing that music that I loved in high school (and even right after) is on the Classics channel now. They should be playing the music that my sisters listened to in HS on there, not me...

I guess I'm in denial and just never thought I'd see "Welcome to the Jungle" being shown on VH1 Classics.

It still shocks me to hear Billy Idol on the oldie's station here.

Geez, glad I'm not the only one. Our Oldies station here does play GNR all the time. Makes for some depression when you relize that was only 14-15 years ago. I say only, but it sure doesn't seem that long!

it always makes me feel old when I hear favorite songs used as elevator or muszac music. Did Areosmith ever dream their songs would be played in elevators across the world?????

It's not sad at all. ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Van Halen etc... on classic radio. What's sad is that there are no new bands that could play like Aerosmith or GNR. When was the last time you heard a good guitar solo on the radio.
