Feeling Hot Hot Hot! The Rain Curse is Broken! Two Weeks of Fun in the Sun! COMPLETE

Great update! Maybe when DD is older we'll give IoA another try. I can't believe that the Hulk was a walk on! I guess everyone was in Potterville?

Fun character pictures, but I can't get past how snug Spiderman's suit is! :scared1: It's bordering on obscene! :lmao:

:sad1::sad2::guilty: I didn't know that they closed Big Bad Wolf. That was my first coaster too and I was looking forward to go to BGW in the next few years so Caitlin could ride it. I even bought the ugly yellow t-shirt that said "I survived the Big Bad Wolf:sad1::sad2::guilty:

Anyway, back to your updates.

Suess Landing is so adorable. I loved the trolley ride:goodvibes

I forgot all about the Cat in the Hat ride. We must have walked right by it:headache:

I couldn't believe the Hulk only had a 5 minute wait:scared1: Much different than when IOA was first open.

I really like the Spiderman ride. I think it is even better than Forbidden Journey.

Your pictures are making me miss Universal. :guilty:

getting older did a number on spinning rides for me as well. When I was a teen I would have gone on Misson: Space over and over. Now, I don't even want to do the non-spinning ride.

Yep, the exact same thing has been happening to me. :sad2:

I just caught up on all your IOA posts :) We're thinking of a short trip in January and hopefully it will include a trip to IOA. We're mostly doing it for the Harry Potter but the rest of the park looks great too! I'm glad I'm following along on your TR so I know not to just pass through the rest of the park.

I'm glad, I think it would be a shame to visit and skip the rest of the park, it is so much fun!

The park was not all that crowded that day. We were pretty lucky in that I chose some light crowd days to visit.

:lmao: We were commenting on that as well. I didn't mention it in the original post as I didn't want you all to think we were perverts focusing on Spidey's bulge. :lmao:

Isn't it sad. :sad2: I love Busch Gardens, it is so much nicer than most amusement parks as it is so pretty and landscaped and well themed. Most amusement parks are concrete slabs with rides scattered around and little theme. That is where WDW, Universal and BG stand out.

Yeah, we were pretty lucky with wait times and crowds. You were there the same day right?

I am sure you will get back to Universal and hopefully you will get to spend more time and ride more on your next visit. :goodvibes

that part of the park looks like alot of fun, not sure i would like the gobbline scarying my little kid with that face and being that close but maybe that kid liked it

 The characters don't approach you unless you approach them so don't worry, if you don't want the kids to be scared they won't be. :thumbsup2

All right, all right, ALL RIGHT!!! :rotfl2: We will definitely be visiting more of Universal than just WWoHP! I can see things from your report that just about everyone would love. We'll definitely make a full day of it -- possibly even two... Looks like you guys definitely enjoyed yourselves!

The goblin-thing costume looks very ... generic. Like someone's nicely-done homemade Halloween costume. Or am I missing something? :confused3

I'd love to visit Universal ... maybe one day. :sad2: (In other words, I'm really enjoying your updates about it -- even though I've been quiet for many updates.)

:rotfl: I'm so glad! It would be such a waste to go and just do WWoHP, the whole park is great!

 Yeah, wait till you see the rest of the character costumes on Super Hero Island. :lmao: We were commenting on them too, seemed very cheap. We don't know if that is the look they were going for or if they just don't invest in their characters that they send out into the park. :confused3

:goodvibes Universal was great and I recommend it to everybody. :thumbsup2

I really didn't notice until reading these posts. :rolleyes1

Spiderman in my favorite IoA ride. I can't usually handle simulators but this one doesn't bother me.

LOVE the new update and photos. Spiderman ride was a bit hit with our crew...I think we did that one 2 or 3 times. I skipped Hulk this time around, but DH rode it with his dad and they loved it. We will wait until the kids are a bit taller to go back so they can ride more stuff.

AND for all of the BG lovers and BBW lovers out there...here is a link to the update regarding the new rides for BGW:

New BGW rides for 2011 and 2012

I guess we'll go back and catch both rides in 2012 with any luck!;)

It was definitely one of the top rides. We all had fun on it.

The Hulk was awesome, you should definitely ride it once the kids are tall enough.

Interesting news about BG. Maybe I can convince the family to go back down for a visit one of these years. We haven't been to Busch Gardens since we moved back to Canada in 2002. Last trip to Virginia Beach and the surrounding area was 2006. We are due for a visit!

I suffer from this too. Right after I had my daughter, my whole body changed. I don't have a clue who I am anymore! :rotfl:

Now that I'm seeing more of this park, I don't think I would like the theming so much. We're not into superheros at all.

Super Hero Island is only one small part of the park and regardless of the theme the rides are a blast. :thumbsup2

So Lessa and I are the only pervs in the bunch, huh?

:woohoo:

I don't believe it for a minute, but if it's true, we've got everyone scrolling back to check it out now!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

The Hulk sounds amazingly fun. Oh gosh I wish I could just ride a roller coaster right now. That Spiderman... hmmm... Spiderman is my absolute favorite super hero (not from the cartoons, but from the movies, MMMM love him) but I think I would feel very awkward posing with him!
Wait, is that Goblin like the Green Goblin from Spiderman? Maybe they made him look different in the movie... very interesting! Do those characters talk?
I wonder where you ventured to next!

Okay Lessa could I handle Spiderman???? !!Loved the latest update !!This info is all being stored for next year !!!!
