Feeling Hot Hot Hot! The Rain Curse is Broken! Two Weeks of Fun in the Sun! COMPLETE

i can't wait for my kids to get a bit bigger to take them to Universal. I haven't been myself in 20 years. Maybe by then the waits at harry Potter will be minimal.

Universal has lots to offer but not so much for little kids. I have heard rumours that Universal is going to expand the Harry Potter section. Talk is that it will take over more of The Lost Continent. That makes me sad as I really liked The Lost Continent so as much as I love Harry Potter I would hate to see it go.

Awww poor puppy! My dog stepped on a bee a couple weeks ago. I don't think the stinger went into her paw because I never found it but she limped around for well over an hour. I felt so bad for her because I knew it hurt but there was nothing I could do :sad1:

Hiya Jordan!

I always feel especially bad for animals when they are hurt/sick because they can't verbalize what is wrong/what they need. :sad2:

The Crazy Stepmother Chronicles: August 2011

Day Eight: Banff National Park: Plain of the Six Glaciers and Lake Agnes Hike

After we were all back together we started to make our way back down the trail we had hiked up.

We stopped at the "viewpoint" to take a few pictures. Dad put down his hiking pole for the pictures and he forgot to pick it back up. He didn't realize this until later.

Instead of hiking back down to the lake we veered left about halfway down and continued the hike on the Lake Agnes trail.

It was on this trail that Dad discovered that his hiking pole was missing. We had taken a short water break early on on this new trail and he thought he may have left it where he had stopped. He left us behind while he went back to go look.

Marcus kept himself entertained by chomping on some sticks. A few people passed us by while we were waiting and they all made the typical comments about Marcus and took his picture.

Dad rejoined us maybe 20 minutes later. Shortly after the Asian family I had been talking with earlier in the day by the tea house passed us by and asked if we had lost a hiking pole. Turns out they had seen it at the "view point". That was over an hours hike back down the trail so it was given up as lost.

We continued along the trail, it offered beautilful views of Lake Louise below and there were hardly any people on the trail so it felt like we were all alone out there.

This is the "Big Beehive", there is a trail that will take you to the top, it is a very demanding climb. Dad said we would have hiked it but it was already getting a little too late in the day for that. He said the views from the top are magnificent.

After a steep climb we arrived at Lake Agnes. I was the last one to the top and found the others waiting for me.

Here are a few of Dad's pictures from this part of the hike.

Gosh, always falling behind! I blame school...

Oooo... Universal! I desperately want to go there, mostly to see WWOHP. HUGE HP fan :goodvibes And the place itself looks like fun (though I'm sure it's nothing like Disney)! I love how they have a Jaws section to the parking lot :teeth: And the place itself looks awesome as well, CityWalk looks like lots of fun and I used to be a big Mythology buff so I love the whole theming in the Lost Continent ever and... what?! You just leave us hanging at just entering WWOHP... urggghhhh... ok, next update! lol

Oh wow, you definitely are a die-hard fan. And I'm totally the same way, the books are much better than the movies, but I can say the movies are fairly good especially with being made to mimic books with so much in them, it's a tough act to follow, but I'm a fan of most anything Harry Potter. :goodvibes That Hogsmeade really is a great recreation, same with Hogwarts, I totally want to go check out all of some of the best wizarding shops right now because of these pictures, Zonkos, Dervish and Banges, Flourish and Blotts, etc. Oh, hopefully I'll be going to WWOHP someday. Totally crossing my fingers to be chosen at Ollivander's (:

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

Wonderful Italy pics!

I have never been. But will go one day.

And wow, such bad chaperons. This would not fly at the school I work at.

And I know you will go back one day ;)

Thanks for sharing all this with us!

I really hope to return someday, especially now that Mom and I are looking into Med cruises for 2013. :thumbsup2

I also had the filet mignon at Le Cellier with the risotto. Ecstasy!

The filet mignon was delicious! Yummy!
