Feeling homesick already

-even though we only joined yesterday.
DH flew in to take care of the paperwork before the incentive disappears leaving DD, DS and myself here to dream of our first trip home next August.
Thanks to all of you for providing so much invaluable information which helped us to make our decision.
Also a huge thank-you to our guide Mayra Ivelisse-Ramirez who I can definitely recommend. Her enthusiasm is totally infectious.

Let me say "Welcome Home" and I feel your pain I remember waiting for our first trip home at OKW. Unfortunatly, it just starts over again as soon as you make your next reservations.

I also want to say a big "Welcome Home"!!!!!
Basser is right, but not only is it after making the reservation do you feel homesick it also occurs as soon as you get home from a WDW trip!
When this happens to me, I remind myself of these words of wisdom: "Don't cry because it is over; smile because it happened!" This helps me to put my post WDW/DVC depression in check until the next trip comes around. Hey, when you are a WDW trip junky, any port in the storm helps! LOL! Enjoy to the fullest your first trip home!!!!

WOW!! Your DH flew from Germany to join?? That's amazing.

I'm always homesick. Then I remind myself, it is my other "home" and I still have years and years of enjoyment left.

Just wanted to say WELCOME HOME

I definitely feel your pain, I'm always homesick for our second home... It starts the day after we get home & goes until the day of our next trip... The DVC board here is the next best thing, at least we get to hear from others that are there or just come home!!!

So homesick...we got home last Sunday. The whole time we kept saying "OK we won't come back for a year and a half" HUH!!?? Monday AM first thing I was on the phone making ressies at the BWV's for the Superbowl in January. So much for saving those pts. Now I'll have to borrow some for October 2003. Oh well, gotta love that DVC and be thankful that me and DH are both NFL fans
