Feeling "Florally" Ignored

Feeling so frustrated. I read wonderful things about Petals By Design but so far they have ignored my requests for even "ball park" quotes. When I first emailed them they asked me to send photos of what I might want. I did, and they still won't respond. Maybe since it's an Escape wedding they aren't interested?
 
I'm so sorry to hear that Rafikifan. It's very possible they are just super busy. :/ Emergencies come up, so maybe they just haven't been able to cope?

Sadly,, when that happens, it does mean that they can lose your business. I've had that happen now with TWO caterers. I got fed up and said, "Fine! I'll spend my own money on self-catering!" I know you can't do that really well with flowers. :(

I hope you hear back from them soon so that hopefully you can save money on your floral. If worse comes to worse...you can always use Disney, I guess. I chose them over another vendor because I just didn't want to worry about anything on my wedding day. Many brides have had an effortless experience using an outside vendor...I just feel like having an outside vendor is just one more thing that COULD go wrong the day of.

There were a handful of vendors that get absolutely glowing reviews that I had to pass on because they were either unresponsive or didn't inspire my confidence in their services. It was hard not to take it personally in my more stressed moments. I had to remind myself that just because they're often a good fit doesn't mean they were a good fit for me. Best of luck in your search. Have you looked in to Lee Forrest Design?

No, they never got back to me. I even emailed a second time to make sure they had gotten my prior email. Still no response. Surprised me since they answered my first email promptly. I thought about calling and then thought, "Do I want to do business with people who don't respond to emails?" In dealing with outside vendors like photographers, etc. I noticed a big difference in response times. I do NOT expect immediate responses but I don't think within 2 weeks is unreasonable. I had contacted 5 photographers. 2 were booked but both responded to my emails VERY quickly, were very nice, and offered other names of photographers they would recommend. 2 others responded quickly also so daughter (the bride) chose one. 3 weeks later the last photographer responded saying they'd be happy to do the pictures but we'd booked already. We weren't trying to be impatient, but when the first 2 people were booked we started to get nervous ;)
