Feeling Disappointed--Part II

O.K., in first thread I explained that I had reservations at BCV for this coming March and needed to change to the week before. Called and BCV not available, but WLV was, so agreed to take that and stay on waitlist for BCV. Thanks to a lot of input from this Board, I decided we would enjoy a stay at WLV this time of year and wanted to stay at all resorts anyway. Tried to call on a Monday to say take me off BCV waitlist. Phones rang busy and did not get thru. Got home that night and in the mail I had a confirmation for BWV, which had never been mentioned in any conversation at all with Member Services. Called the next day and asked what was going on. They could not explain why they had put me at BWV, but after being on hold for quite some time, they put me back at WLV and I asked that they cancel the waitlist for BCV.

So now, in yesterday's (Saturday) mail, I got a second confirmation for BWV with a preferred view. I am not sure what to think now. I guess I will just call back tomorrow and see if I can get thru. Now, if they wanted to tell me I definitely had a Boardwalk view, I might say just leave me at BWV, but we all know that won't happen.

If this were a trip of just of couple of days, I wouldn't worry, but we will be there 7 nights and will have an itinerary pretty much in place and location does make a difference in an itinerary.

Anyone else have this much trouble in getting confirmations for locations they did not request?

Sounds like a bit of a tangled web. Good luck straightening it out. Have a wonderful trip - where ever you end up staying!

Someone obviously put you on the BW wait list by mistake so make sure they track it down and take it off. You may also have trouble getting your WLV reservation back so make sure this is available before you have the cancel the BWV. Definitely call early Monday.

It is now just a little after 9:00 and I called and got thru, Yeah, only to be told that MS is closed for MKL holiday. Guess I will have to wait until tmoorrow to talk to someone about my situation.

I've got to rearrange a March trip tomorrow too! I have a feeling those phones are going to be busy.
