Feeling Blue...Should have been flying out

Hi everyone,
Feeling a bit blue today. We were scheduled to go on our $99 dollar cruise leaving tomorrow night. We ended up cancelling because of financial reasons. Our $99 cruise was turning into a $2000 trip. After the damage we did this summer (vacationing) and Christmas around the corner we decided against going. I know its the right thing to do but it still hurts...waaaaa.

O.K. enough whining. Thanks for letting me vent.

Hi Mary-

I'm sorry that you are not able to take your cruise. I know what you mean about a "cheap" trip turning into WAY more. Have a wonderful time on your next cruise!

I know exactly what you mean. We're cruisin on DVC points so basically the cruise itself is paid for, right? Well we then had to budget in plane tickets ($540ish) and then all the extras - photos, excursions, souvies, food before & after cruise, etc, etc.
We are well over $2400 not counting the cruise itself!
