Feeling a bit overwhelmed...

For lunch or dinner you should try Redd Rocket's Pizza Port in Tomorrowland. They have pizza and spaghetti and meatballs that the kids will like, and the chicken fusilli is one of the best things I have eaten at Disneyland. They have a number of salad entrees that you also might like, I just can't claim to have tried them.

Blue Bayou has wonderful atmosphere and great food, but your kids wouldn't enjoy it near as much as you would, so you might save that experience for some time in the future when they will love it.

Do not miss Farley The Fiddler on the front porch of the
Davy Crockett Pioneer Mercantile - it is on the left as you enter Frontierland. He is there 11:00, 12:0o0, 1:00, 2:30, 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30 Mon-Fri (if you're coming in April or May, he has a lot of Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, there on Saturdays instead).

If you happen to be in New Orleans Square and see a really tall guy with an ever present smile (maybe in costume at Blue Bayou, maybe just hanging out watching the musicians) introduce yourself - I'd love to meet you.

Is Farley listed in the Times Guide? I have never seen him but want to this summer. :)

Minnie and Friends breakfast is fantastic, and they'll get to meet characters like Goofy, Chip and Dale, Minnie, etc. My kids absolutely loved it. Definately worth it!

Also, some rides have special lines for parents, such as Tower of Terror. That way, your hubby could ride, and then you, without having to wait a long time back in line again. Also, fastpasses are great, too.

There is a Build a Bear in downtown Disney, with some outfits and a "bear" sold only there. A good thing for the girls to cuddle and have as a long term souvenir.

The parade on main street is beautiful, and my kids loved all the characters.

Check out Hydroguy's information on here. When I was planning our first trip a few years ago, his tips were wonderfully useful.

The most important thing is to just have fun. If you don't get it all in your first time, well, that's all the more excuse for another trip!
