Hi
For my wifes 40th I arrange for her to be a keeper for the day at Marwell Zoo which is not that far from you.
It was £180 for the day but you are only the big Four OOO once.
It was a great day and the children and I got some great pictures and video of her feeding the Giraffes and various over animals Monkeys bats to name just a few.
her Fav. animal is the giraffe so they gave her ages in that area. any question you are welcome to PM me.
You have a short briefing and then go out in the back of a truck. The staff have plenty of the various animal feeds and you get to hand feed a giraffe(or two). The crew member will take photograpjhs for you.
Strangely enough, a giraffe cannot bite you as they have no lower teeth.
We did hte Serengeti Safari at Busch Gardens a couple of years ago. It was a great experience, well worth the money and feeding the giraffes was brilliant. Your son-in-law would love it
