Is there a posted schedule of feeding times at the entrance?

Anyone, I'd like to know as well. Haven't been to the Orlando Sea World, but visited the one in Ohio several times before the closed about 5 years ago. They used to feed the dolphins at several times during the day.

The times, I believe, are posted on your park map, along with the show schedules. It is best to get there at least 30 minutes before hand to grab a spot in line for the food, and a place on the wall to feed.
Once the food is gone, it is gone, and it doesnt matter how many people are left in line. They are very strict about how much the dolphins eat.

can i assume then that the best strategy if you have two people with you is to have one wait in line for food and another claim a spot on the wall to feed? then after the food person gets their food, head over to the person waiting at the wall.

This spring I noticed they have started using ropes to keep the area where the feeders go clear until they want it filled. So while this was a good strategy in the past, it might not work now.

The SeaWorld maps do not have specific dolphin feeding times printed on them. The next feeding time is usually posted on the house where they sell the fish. If the park opens at nine, be there by 9:30 to start lining up for the first feeding.

i did this last month, my dh wait in line to buy food and i (with 2 kids) stay behind the rope and when my dh got the fish, the lady will let us in.
but what happened that day that she let us in after about 5 minutes waiting  and we can pet the dolphin before finally my dh came with the fish.

it was exactly like this last Saturday, and they were very strict.....wouldn't even let the "make a wish" family in early ! But it was OK, and you wern't fighting masses for spots at the wall.We had a nice interaction with our dolphins.

Right, in the past the crowd was 4-5 rows deep of people looking to pet the dolphins who didn't have fish. Now they're roped it off and only those with fish get in. The rest have to wait on the side and behind on the sidewalk. If you don't have fish, the best thing is to go around to the underwater viewing area, then move on.
