Looking for feedback on this tentative game plan for one day in the parks, starting HS then hopping to MK on Tues 5/10. Will be buying Genie+ and ILL because I have one day and that's it for this year at WDW. So: 1) how doable? and 2) any changes?

Staying on-site and plan to use early entry for HS. Goal rides are SDD, MMRR, Coaster, ToT. TSM and ROTR would be nice but not necessary (have done ROTR at DL). Skipping Smugglers, Aliens, Star Tours. Plan is to try to get LL for SDD at 7 am, ILL for ROTR after the SDD attempt. If I can get a LL for SDD, then rope drop MMRR (or would you rope drop ToT?). If SDD LLs are gone, then rope drop SDD. Skip ROTR if I can't get a ILL. Fit in Coaster when I can, am assuming I can get a LL for that more easily than one for MMRR or ToT (or is that assumption a bad one?)

Planning on hopping to MK around 2. Would like to do Splash, HM, BTMR, PP, Seven Dwarves, fireworks. I'll buy a ILL for Dwarves when I'm at HS if I can. If no ILL, then I'll get into the Seven Dwarves line at closing. Which LLs would you prioritize for the evening at MK? Am thinking PP and Splash (?) because HM and BTMR seem to have more availability.

The problem with trying for SDD LL at 7 is return times very rapidly shift into late afternoon/evening and can be unpredictable, which could mess up your hopping plan. Another approach is rope dropping SDD and for your 7am LL book MMRR, RNRC or ToT trying for pre 1030 return time. If you get it, you can tap in and book your 2nd LL before most people.

You could also hop from MK *to* HS, in that case a late return time for a 7am SDD LL actually works in your favor.

I think doing all these rides is a good goal, but depending on how busy it is and how things go you might miss a couple of these.

The challenge with starting with Hollywood Studios is that the return times get pushed out to the evening quickly. I think it's doable to leave the plan as is, but like the previous posted commented it would be tempting to flip the park order.

Let's assume you'll stick with Hollywood Studios first. If you want a morning time slot for SDD you'll want to make sure you have edited Disney Genie to have Slinky be your top selection. That will bring it to the top of your list at the crack of 7 and give you a chance at a return time before 2 p.m. If that doesn't work you'd either need to pick something else or see if it pops back up with an early time at some point in the next 20 minutes. It sounds like 7:17 a.m. is the best time to try for an early ROTR slot. The one ride I would avoid getting in a long standby line is ToT. It has been running at half capacity and it sounds like that would continue. I would rope drop ToT if you can get ahead of most of the early entry crowd and then do RnR next because it is right there. From there I would do MMRR. TSM should be available for a before 2 p.m. return with your second lightning lane, but I would not expect that to be the case for the others.

Peter Pan will have return times get late the fastest of the rides you mentioned in Magic Kingdom. The other three aren't consistent in which gets latest the fastest. I suppose that may depend on the weather with Splash.

I think you can do most of this. But I would go in expecting to not quite do it all, particularly in Hollywood Studios.

Thank you for the feedback! I thought about starting at MK, but I'd like to see the new MK fireworks and HS has none. I'll see what I can get done at HS and then hop to MK. The only one I haven't been on is MMRR, so I'll prioritize that (plus I finally got an Oga's reservation!) and anything else is gravy.
