Hi all. Was hoping I could get some feedback on our plan. This trip will just be DH and me, celebrating an anniversary. I have booked our dining reservations, though I am tempted to scratch them all except California Grill and see where the wind takes us, and I have made a list of our musts in each park. I would love feedback on our plans. We do have APs and can park hop. We are still unsure if DH will be able to get into DHS due to Toy Story Land but it looks hopeful from what we can see thus far. We will be there early August.

We have been in May, September, and October. I am assuming the summer crowds are similar to the Disneyland Resorts which are bananas in the summer. This plan looks reasonable to me but I could be way off base.

Sunday:
Land at MCO after red-eye 6:30 am, staying at AKL Kidani

California Grill brunch 10 am

pool time, check in, nap

Jiko 6:30 pm

Monday: AK day (9a-9p)
EMH 8-9 am, arrive by 7:30 am

Musts: Flight of Passage, Dinosaur, EE (day and night), Kali River, Safari, Na'vi River, Festival of the Lion King, Buruduka (drums), Rivers of Light, Tree of Life, all trails, animals....

Tusker House 10:35 am
Nomad Lounge
Yak and Yeti 6:15 pm

Tuesday: Epcot Day aka drinking around the World (9a-9p)
Arrive by 11 or so

Musts: Three Caballeros, Soarin', Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Frozen ride (maybe)

eat, drink, snack
Raglan Road 6:00

Wednesday: MK day (9a-10p)
Arrival time depends on how much damage we did at Raglan the night before (read hangover)
arrive between 10-11

Musts: Country Bear Jamboree, Carousel of Progress, People Mover, Seven Dwarves Mine Train, Splash Mountain, Philharmagic, and I am wrestling with Hall of Presidents....

Maybe Mara for breakfast before MK if not The Jungle Navigation Co 11:45
Yachtsman Steakhouse 7:05
Back for evening EMH 10-midnight maybe or Jellyrolls

Thursday: DHS day. (9a-9p) If DH is blocked then I am highly considering buying one day water park tickets to Typhoon Lagoon and renting an umbrella/chairs but for now we are going to DHS.

Arrival will depend on if we do EMH/Jellyrolls

Musts: RnR, Slinky, ToT, Aliens, Indiana Jones stunt show

Mara or maybe just coffee, toast in the villa....
Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge for snacks/drinks or Sci Fi or 50's
Il Mulino 7:15 pm

Friday: check out day
Leave villa close to 11 am

Boma at 10:55 or Homecomin at noon

The three things I am married to in this plan are DH, AKV, and California Grill for brunch.

:thanks:

:thanks:
If your DH has a CM Comp ticket, he can use that and won’t be blocked from DHS...and it’s a park hopper. You’ve haven’t included actual dates in your plan but he’ll be blocked from Studios from June 25th through at least the end of July.

Thanks! He is a CM. He is not blocked at DHS the last 3 Sundays in July according to what their calendar shows. He is blocked June 25 through July 1 and July 8; can't see the rest of the week but I am guessing he's blocked through July 8.

We will be there early August. :thanks:

He’s blocked through the 8th for Self-Admits...as long as he doesn’t need to use his MainGate Pass, he should be fine. He can always take a Comp just in case.
