This is our second trip to Disney (family of 3), but our first stay on site with the DP. I book at 2am CST tomorrow. Here is my proposed ADR schedule:

12/17 - #1 Akershus or #2 1900 Park Fare or #3 O'Hana's (all breakfast)
12/18 - #1 Brown Derby or #2 50's Prime Time (Dinner)
12/19 - Hoop dee doo
12/20 - #1 Boma or ???
12/21 - Will try for whatever breakfast I can't get on 12/17
12/22 - Garden Grill or Tutto Italia

Your thoughts please? Are there restaurants that are "easier" to get into when you only have 3?

Yes and no. I feel like if it is somewhere we really would enjoy, I will just pay for the other ADRs when my credits run out.

The only change I would personally make is to drop the Brown Derby and go with your #2 choice, the Prime Time. The Brown Derby is, IMO, overpriced for what you get (especially when using the dining plan credits) and we have always found the food to be adequate, at best. The Prime Time, on the other hand, is a lot of fun with fantastic food (try the pot roast!).

I'd also pick Tutto over the Garden Grill, but if you like the menu at GG and want the character experience it's a better bet for you.

Other than that I think your plans look great!

I Agree!

Thx to both of you for the feedback. With all the talk about the online ADR system, I just hope I can get them all!

12/17 being a family of 3 I assume the 3rd is young child so I would choose Ohana here if boy, or 1900 for girl. (or suggest WCC is possible)
12/18 I would go with Prime Time, same reason
12/21 look at WCC, Boma or CM
12/22 definately Tutto

but really it's your meal your tastes, do what you think you'll like best.

Another vote for 50's over the BD. I've never been to the Derby, but 50's is a must do for us every trip.

I personally like the food better at Tutto's, but if you want characters they are great at Garden Grill.

I wouldn't think you would have any problems getting any of those breakfast ADRs you want based on my experience making ADRs for our upcoming trip during Thanksgiving. Those restaurants were all available when I was making ADRs.

Good luck and let us know what you get.

Thanks to those who gave me input. I got all the reservations at the dates and times...no problem with the website at all! This is a surprise trip for our DD9, and she will be so excited.
