Since it's close to our resort... (BWV) we are considering eating there on a day that we don't have park tickets. We'd love to do a character breakfast - even if we aren't in the parks, it'll still feel like disney :-)

Is it good, not good, etc.?

Thanks :-)

I love it! It is a rather laid-back breakfast with the characters. The characters interact with everyone. The food is very good with a lot to offer: fresh fruit, granola, hot and cold cereal, waffles, breakfast meats, eggs, danish, pastries, doughnuts... there is something to satisfy almost anyone.

My family loves this breakfast! The food is great, and it is such a nice laid back atmosphere. My favorite thing to have there is the breakfast pizza.

How does Cape May compare to Chef Mickey's? We are staying at the BWI for the first time. We have previously stayed at a MK resort. My two sons love Chef Mickey's, but the Cape May Breakfast Buffet would be so much more convenient.

The food is just as good and just as many choices as chef mickeys and we actually love the cape may cafe for the character breakfast or for the clambake dinner. But it is not as loud and fun as chef mickeys. Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale do stop by your table but there is no "party" like at
chef mickeys. We would recommend it based on convenience.

Definitely try Cape May. It is much more "low key" than Chef Mickey, and I find, more relaxing. The atmosphere at Chef Mickey is much more high energy, while Cape May is laid back. The characters wear beach attire. I'm sure your son's will love it! On my DS13 birthday last year, we went for breakfast, and Goofy spent a lot of time with us, and actually played tic-tac-toe with him. My son was in heaven.

It's a nice little buffet. We prefer Chef Mickey, but I think you'll still enjoy it. When our kids were younger we always stayed at the CR, then we tried the Boardwalk and we absolutely love the Epcot resort area. I think you'll have a nice time.

We enjoy this breakfast so much that we have decided to make it our check out day breakfast each visit. The food is good and the character interaction is great!!

LOOOOVE IT! It is our favorite character breakfast and the only one we return to every trip. Excellent food, service, and character interaction.

Thumbs up from our Fam. Great variety, laid back and good character interaction.

This is a great thread! We are going to Cape May for breakfast in June for the first time! I'm glad to hear so many people like it! :teeth:

Great place! I agree that it's not as rowdy as Chef Mickey's....but we usually do Cape May for breakfast and Chef Mik's for dinner.

If you go at a time that isn't too busy (think 9:30 as a start time)...there are characters who will spend a lot of time with the kids. I think DD believes that Chip is her personal playmate.
