federal tax return

No, still no news on mine. Still get the error message and them no info available.

Mine originally said no info, then by the 21st, then no info all day yesterday and then this morning it gave more info about how I wanted it deposited and was set for the 14th.

Still nothing on mine either, and we filed on 2/3. As long as we get it before March I'm happy. Last year I didn't get mine until almost mid March because my accountant mixed up my mother's SSN, she's disabled and lives with us so we claim her. My taxes were kicked back twice before it was fixed.

I'm having the same situation as many of you who filed last weekend and it not showing any information about my return. There was an update on the WMR:

Update: We are aware that some taxpayers who have filed electronically and received an acknowledgement from the IRS are concerned when they visit "Where's My Refund" and are told that we have no information regarding their return. This is a temporary situation, and we expect to resolve the matter in a few days. At that time, taxpayers will be able to get an expected refund date when they visit "Where's My Refund."

If a taxpayer received an acknowledgment message that their e-filed tax return has been received, they can be assured that the IRS has the tax return even though "Where's My Refund" does not reflect that. Taxpayers should not call the IRS unless specifically directed by "Where's My Refund," as there is no new information to give them.

We expect the vast majority of tax refunds to continue to be issued within the historical range of 10 to 21 days. The IRS is taking steps to update information so that Where's My Refund has current information. The IRS apologizes for any inconvenience and will provide updated information as soon as possible.

Thanks for this info!!! I was beginning to worry that we'd been flagged or something because our refund tripled this year (thanks to paying an obscene amount of college tuition out of pocket).

I am so glad that I read this because we e-filed last weekend and the IRS site has not updated with anything as of yet. I was really starting to panic that something had messed up and that our return was lost somewhere in cyberspace or we had been flagged for an audit.

No problem...I had the same fears too...except in reverse because I didn't have to pay for my tuition this year which reduced the huge refunds we got back the last two year to a 1/3 of what it was

me too...i've never had any problems e-filing (I've been doing it for YEARS) and this is the first year I was worried that something went wrong

I feel like I am the only person in the world who hasn't filed yet.

Doesn't anybody else have to wait for 1099Bs or 1099DIVs? Raymond James will not issue these until 2/15 so I am waiting.....

OP here The $$ is in my bank account and ready for use tomorrow-:cool1:
The IRS schedule had said Wednesday so pretty close

Thanks for this, i was beginning to worry. Hopefully there will be a status update soon.

I was just coming here to ask if anyone else was having trouble when checking the irs site for WMR. So glad I found this. We also filed the weekend before last and there is nothing showing.

Filed the 6th and the chart said it would be there by today (the 15th) - nothing. Checked where's my refund, says it will be there by the 29th. WHo knows.
