Federal income tax refunds

In prior years I remember seeing threads with the income tax electronic submission dates and the IRS projected date of the tax refund. Does anyone have that information for this filing year? I tried the IRS website, but didn't have any luck?

Ours is supposed to be here on 1/29 as well!! Im so exited, we did ours on turbo tax, super easy! and the reason we get them done so early is- my husband works for his broth in law/sister so they get the 1099s out quick!

i got my w2's emailed to me last night and went ahead and filed. got my accepted email from the irs this morning saying i would get my money in the bank on the 29th.

Me too - I used the free online filing by Tax Act.

WE got ours back fast last year, we filed the end of January and I think we had ours in our savings account the 1st or 2nd of February....

I was wondering that for those of you who filed during the first little time frame.. When you check the IRS website, when does it say your return will be coming in? I filed on the 18th.. It says I should get my return on the 2nd of Feb. Just wondering what everyone else says!

Mine says Feb 2nd too even though the email I got said 1/29. Guess we will see next Friday.

I think part of the date depends on if you are having it deposited or you are getting a check!

They always direct deposit on Friday. I think they say a few days later in case your bank takes longer to process the DD's.

Okay, starting to freak. I filed my through a online tax service and got a Acceptance letter from them. It showing up on the SBBT bank that handles the refunds. It's not showing up on the IRS page yet. Is anyone else refund not showing up on the refund page

Mine is not showing up either, but every year it shows up on there the same week I'm due to get my refund. I wouldn't panic!

I was panicking as well until I remembered last year it showed up Wed and my deposit went in Fri!
