Anyone employed by the government? I am thinking of making some changes and would like to work for the government. Was it very difficult to get a job? How long did it take? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have very marketable skills. I am currently an executive assistant. Prior to that, worked my way up the ladder in banking. And prior to that, I was in the Air Force.

I work for the Army in a military hospital. Depending where you live and what you do will have be the biggest obstacle in getting a government job.l

It is just dd15 and I. We are very willing to relocate to states east of here! (She wants to go to college anywhere in the midwest/east).

Try going to USAjobs or CPOL (civilian personnel online), they will have the job listings by state and career field.
