Fed up...

Any improvment, I'm due out on Tuesday :cool1:

Sunny here today on the Gulf coast, after heavy rain last night. 82F in the shade at 11am with hardly any wind.
Doing a few outside chores before watching the Euro football.

Oh I really hope it picks up for you!I had this in december 1999. The trip was 18 months in the making and the only thing that kept me going. It rained for 13 out of 15 days! We all got ill to boot! Hope you get some sun soon :)

I have my fingers crossed the weather cheers up for you!

I'd be disappointed if it rained the whole time, I know you try to make the most of it, but it's just not the same!

Sunshiney-vibes headed your way :wizard:

My friend is there at the mo but she hasn't mentioned the rain but they go camping in the rain so probably don't bother them iv heard the same complaints about June last year. Not nice when uv paid a large amount for a holiday in the sunshine state.
Something we can't control the weather. Thts why I prefer to go sept - dec as less rain may be a bit cooler at night in nov dec but hardly any if no rain.
Hope it picks up for you hun:hug:

i was there this time last june and the weather was amazing in the 90's no rain except in the afternoon for about 20 mins def was a good year last year hence why i booked june this year but will be my last its too much money to have spoilt by rain and people saying they would rather be in disney then back at home - well its been sunny at home (for me) why swap sun here for rain in disney ? just hoping weather changes but it does sound doubtfull, will have to make the most of it but will need a sun hoilday when im back.

For our next trip I was actually thinking of changing our usual Florida month of September to June because I found cheaper deals but having just read all this thread, l'll sick to our tried and tested dryish month of September.

I like you would be so mad at spending all that money for it to rain, when we've stayed in hotels in Florida and it has rained the whole place "shuts down" and closes, pools, park, play centre etc etc and this is annoying after an hour so I really fell your pain at days off rain.

Hope things improve and sharpish

I feel for you so much flortlebap  I know people say they would rather be in a rainy WDW than a rainy UK but I totally wouldn't. Afternoon showers are fine, they come and go and don't ruin the day but constant rain all day every day and water parks closed, parades cancelled, fireworks cancelled.....just not my idea of a fun Florida holiday!

It's not exactly cheap to go to Orlando, I certainly wouldn't want to spend 2 weeks indoors playing board games, days shopping in the malls (I do hate shopping though :rolleyes1) and other things that I could do back home!

Really really hoping things pick up and you get some sunshine in your last days :)

Agree entirely, we have been many times, only once, a few years go did we have a lot of rain (most of day for probably 12 out of 18 days) and it spoilt the holiday. For me just being over there is not much consolation if weather is very poor, especially with the ever rising costs of getting there. Hope the weather picks up!
