February weather?

What is the weather like in February? This will be our third trip to WDW. We have stayed at the Poly in July 2002 and AKL in July 2003. We were thinking of staying at Coronado Springs in February. Is this a good time to stay at the Coronado, or can someone suggest a better resort for that time of year? We have an AP and need to get the best deal.

We've done WDW several times in February. The weather is usually in the mid to upper 70s. Our kids have always been able to swim in this weather, considering that it is way warmer than up here in PA.

Crowds have always been great early in the week but a little crazier Thurs through Sat. Seems to be a lot of groups of teens at that time.

We went during Feb for the first time this year and we loved it. We stayed at the AKL Concierge from Feb 1st through the 6th. The weather in the morning was in the high 50's to low 60's and then by noontime the temps were up to the high 70's. One day it got into the mid 80's. The crowds were no where to be found. It was our best trip ever and we have had some great trips.

As far as AP discounts go. In the past they have been good for the time frame of just after New Year's Eve through the first two weeks of Feb but as you know for reading these boards and mousesavers.com that AP discounts going forward are no longer the "sure thing" that they have been for the past couple of years.

Feb. is usually great weather, not too hot but yet no cold surprises, like in Jan.
