We checked in last night, wanted 1100 loop, but it is closed. We landed in 1300 loop.

Dozen eggs at puplix in lakeland last week was 9.49, might have to stock up at meadows, 5.49 plus my AP discount

Publix prides itself on a high service level (but that comes with a price).

Personally I shop at Aldi's while at home for everything I can get there - then I head to Wal-Mart for the rest. If you can get a discount from your AP for a buck or more, @team bradfield, the Meadow TP egg price moves into competitive range.

When at Fort Wilderness, I always drive out for groceries to the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Hwy 192. Google will tell you to head down World Drive to 192 but the left turn onto N Old Wilson Lake Road can often take 2-3 light cycles. So I drive out towards Animal Kingdom then left on Sherberth Road and make my way to the WMSC.

That WMSC also has VERY good gas prices but it pumps EXTREMELY slow. But I am patient and it (literally) pays off in the end.

My WMSC off 192 is at 2855 N Old Wilson Lake Road in Kissimmee. It's like every other WM. Go early to beat the crowds.

PS - but be aware they don't sell alcohol (beer, wine) until AFTER 9am (don't ask me how I know - I tried to check out at 845am and I was like 'WTH' ?). That was on a week day. Don't know about their Sunday rules. But $1 a piece for their Yuengling Light 12oz cans in the 24 pack beats the Meadow TP prices by FAR. .

PPS - I suspect @team bradfield keeps a little extra egg money under his mattress before he heads to Publix. Those prices remind me of the old Goodings Supermarket that was in the Crossroads Plaza shopping center at the end of Hotel Plaza Blvd (Disney Springs hotels) at the Hwy 535 intersection (in the early 80s I saw it there) which was the most convenient (closest) grocery to WDW and had prices that reflected that convenience. It's been gone for years to make way for a new straight-shot exit ramp off I4 to Disney Springs.

Strange rules, in Illinois we can buy 24-7, agree no 6 packs at the Fort

thanks for your dissection of my response, Jeff.

I'll have to share some beer prices from Jan 2024.

It's like my kids used to say: the best tasting pizza is FREE pizza (in college).

And the coldest, best tasting beer (me, I SAY) is the beer you buy yourself.
