Rates are high should I wait any longer.
Tried Costco(I'm a member). Would like to go w/Alamo and use the Disney Car Care Center for pickup and return 4 days later to Tampa airport but getting cheapest $427 for a full size (would really like mini van which is much higher).
Tried adding 3 days and picking up in Orlando airport after we land and just skipping the Magic Express and keeping car while in Disney for 3 days and that is about same slightly more(w/Alamo).
BUDGETS option for full wk is $384 on a van and high 200's on a full size. Did not think I wanted a car while in Disney at POLY but maybe we should hassle w/our own luggage forget the Magic Express keep the car longer and go w/BUDGET?
Any thoughts for this newbie going from Disney(3-1/2days to Tampa for 4days)......help

We've been renting cars from National our last few trips. For 2010, I am just not seeing the coupons out there for later in the year.

We have a trip in early March and one in September and I was anxious to get a car rental booked. So, I purchased one of the Entertainment books and was able to use their discount code and coupon code to come up with a reasonable rate for both of my trips.

The book was only $20 and has paid for itself!

[I used the link to purchase from the Mousesavers.com site.]

well if you rent from the car care center you can expect to pay big bucks. The CCC is about 3 times more than renting from the airport. I checked for a car rental and the price at CCC is $235 and the same mid size car at the airport is $70 yep seventy dollars for a week.

I found that the rate using the Costco code as more expensive. Instead I used the $25 off coupon on the Alamo sit and used the pay it now option and rented the car 2 days before we left.

Yes I am leaning toward doing the same. Rent at airport and keep car at Disney though I don't really need it until I leave there.........

I just went to Dollar and went to the Special Button, I was able to get a minivan for 5 days for 292.50. I first tried for the $39.99 a day but they had nothing so then I went to the 44.99 and they had it. I am happy we had a rental at alamo and it was $400.59 for the same dates and time. Hope this helps. Michelle
