February question???

I am trying to plan a trip in Feb 06 and I can't decide when we should go. I was looking at Feb 15-21. How busy is that time ? I've read that it can still get quite chilly , but that is not the issue. I'm really concerned about the crowds . That really is the only week we can go becuz DD is on mid-winter break and DD will be turning 1 during that time as well. Any suggestions...I'm all ears !

We always go during the second week of Feb. The week prior to my sons school vacation. It can get cold at night but the days are comfortable and it is their driest time of the year. We love that time frame. Prior to school vacation is not too crowded but boy does it pick up when school lets out. We went from 20 minute lines to over an hour during school vacation week. My son does well in school so we do not mind pulling him out for a few days

Hi ahilly,

The first half of your trip should be good in terms of crowds but starting Saturday the 18th crowds will get pretty big. That wil continue to be the case the rest of the week you are there.

President's Day weekend is pretty crowded, and the second half of your trip coincides with President's Day weekend in 2006.

If you could move your trip forward a few days, say from Feb 11-17, you will avoid all the holiday crowds.
