February dates? Anything going on?

Thinking of planning a girls trip for early February. Is there anything going on that I should be aware of? I was thinking 2/5 - 2/8, but I can be flexible on the weekend.

The weekend you've choosen is probably a pretty good one, in terms of crowds. The first Sunday in February (2/1) is Super Bowl Sunday and there were reports that it was busy last year. The following weekend has Presidents' Day, which will probably be pretty busy (three day weekend). I don't think there will be a lot happening and the parks will have short operating hours, but DLR is always a lot of fun!

Super bowl Sunday wasn't bad in 2014, but it was raining that evening. We've chosen to go Feb 6-8, 2015. Join us in the Feb thread!
