How are the crowds in February during the week? Not the week of Presidents Day...more like the first week?

Thanks:goodvibes

I have the 2008 version of Birnbaum's Guide, and they're saying that crowds should be less then average, in other words a GREAT time to go. I wanted to go that week, but my other half said we have to push it out to another week. So, in answer to your question, they shouldn't be bad at all.

We have gone twice during the month of February - the crowds were light and we had a fantastic time!

This is a GREAT time to go!! We went last February and the only thing we really had to wait in line for was Indiana Jones, Peter Pan and Soarin'!

The people who birthed and raised my spouse went last year in the first week of February and walked onto everything. They called us to tell us how empty the parks were. We went during President's Day weekend and had plenty of lines.

On the upside, I didn't have to do Disneyland with them. They end up on all of our other vacations. All in all, I will take 70,000 people in replacement for the two of them.

We will venture to Disney in Feb. and hope the crowds will be lite. I'm finding it is still busy no matter when you go. The down side is the hours are shorter.

Can anyone give me an idea of what the weather will be like? This is coming from an Albertan who at that time will probably be wearing fleece underwear, a wool sweater, a down filled jacket, hats, mitts, etc. etc. Can we wear jeans or capris in February?

Also, does anyone have an idea when the DL website posts parade & entertainment schedule for Feb? It is not up yet! Thanks

You can absolutely wear jeans or capris in February. I would bring a light jacket for evenings in case it gets cold. I went at Christmastime last year and saw a family in snowsuits and boots, but that definitely isn't the norm, especially as I was in a t-shirt and jeans. I would say be prepared for maybe a bit of rain, but you won't be encountering anything like you get in Alberta.

I think DL does their site 3 months ahead of time.

That's what I thought, but nothing is up for Feb yet! Does anyone know if Feb is similar to Jan for parades & shows? I printed out the last week in Jan to use while waiting for Feb to come out.
