February Character Sightings!

I have a trip scheduled for 5/5 to 5/12. Think that spot in MGM will be empty for our trip as they make the transition from UP to Toy Story 3? Last year we where there earlier a few days earlier (May 1 to 8) and saw the Bolt characters on their last day but then nothing there after that for our trip.

What TS3 charecters can we expect and when? I thought they wouldn't do anything in the animation buildling since some of the park is themed for TS already. My kids are gonna be heartbroken if Dug is not there when we arrive. I'm gonna have to start preparing them now. Is there an offical date when UP! charecters are going away yet?

Unfortunately, Ken is owned my mattel, so just as Disney never had a Barbie meet n greet, there will also not be a Ken.

There was a Barbie and Ken meet and greet once! It was in the mid-90s (1994, I think?). Barbie was made an ambassador of friendship by Epcot (it may have been tied in with Mattel becoming a corporate sponsor at the parks?) I have my photo taken getting their autographs in Epcot. Barbie signed in purpley-red marker and Ken signed in blue. I'll find the photo and scan it in. I remember meeting them because there was this pink limo, in Epcot. My mum went up to a CM, walked up to a CM and asked who the line was for. They told us Barbie and Ken were there and so we jumped in line as it wasn't that big at the time. When we left, the line was huge. I'll find the photo and scan it in.

Are Thumper and Miss Bunny out all the time, or is it once in a while? I really want to meet them, they are too cute! Will they be around in May? I really hope so!

Has anyone seen Handy Manny lately? We will be there May 2-9. This is our #1 must-see. Any tips?

Cort, we saw him near the Playhouse Disney area at Hollywood Studios. He was all alone so hubby and daughter played with him. LOL
