February 9, 2013 - Magic out of Galveston??

Hey there! This will be our 1st Disney cruise also and we have a 12yo daughter(Abigail) and a 4yo (Grace). Since we are novices, I don't understand most of the abbreviations that are being used. In fact, I've been trying to figure out how to post for 2 days. Anyway, it appears we've some very knowledgable veterans here, so we should learn quite a bit before setting sail thankfully. Also, being that I've just learned what a fish extender was, will anyone else be interested in starting a new group since the others have met their time deadline for joining?

Welcome Angel !! My suggestion is to pose that question on our facebook page to people too some have bought and made everything so probably can't add you but others may. Like I could add your family to mine. Maybe others could and you could print our fe list on our web page and just highlight the people who can include you and exchange with them

There are plenty of 1st timers here too. I actually had to look up the abbreviations when I started reading the boards. You'll figure it out quickly. I think I'll have enought FE gifts to drop some by your cabin. We have a 9,5 & 4 year old. Cabin 8084. Looking forward to meeting you.

Our son will be 12 a week after the cruise, and we are also first timers!

Never too late to get in a DIS group! If you want to participate in an FE group, they have started a smaller, 2nd group for the late comers!

There is a link on post #1 with intructions to signup for the FE.

In this day and age when names are so unique and beautiful , alot of them can go as either gender. I wanted to ask if Raegan was a girl or boy as I believe it is a name like my Sydney that can go either way. Thanks

Our Facebook group is a closed group you have to be invited and only other members of the group and see anything. It is very private! After the cruise, you can continue to chat over there or you can pretend you never met us! lol!

Ok so those of you on the 2nd list have to decide if you are having a cut off to adding more people...a week ahead before cruise???......next week???

ALSO---I will post this on FB too...but when filling out the join us form...thanks for giving us the kids names and ages that helps knowing if each our kids have people their age in the clubs. HOWEVER---we do wanna know ur names too.. For those of you that left that out...can ya tell us or you will have to be HEY YOU! when we see you on the ship

My parents will be on the cruise with us as well, but they're not staying in our cabin. It's all about the free babysitting.

I will go jump on the 2nd FE group. I'm awaiting our FE in the mail. I spent WAY too much on etsy for matching clothes for the girls for this cruise, among other things. After years of making fun of friends who bought all the matchy-matchy Disney clothes for their trips, within FIVE MINUTES of booking this thing, I was buying Mouse dresses and Tigger bows, so help me.

It's snowing in Dallas today, so I am seriously dreaming about the Caribbean today.

Welcome! Whereabouts are you in DFW? We're in ponder ( near Denton). And I know there are 2 other families in lewisville and flower mound.
