I am so to getting how to make those ticker things.

I am so NOT getting how to make those ticker things, or how to type apparently.

I know, the tickers are a pain. If you search the board you will find a post on how to do it.

The FE exchange is fun - but completely voluntary. On the outside of every stateroom, there is a fish fixture. If you ever get a note from guest services, Palo etc... it will hold that.

If you want to participate in the FE Exchange you get a FE hanger to hang from your fish. You can make them or order them online (like I had to since I am not a crafty person ) - search on Esty. You usually have a pocket for each family member.

There will be a list made for your cruise of people who want to participate. Usually with names, ages of kids and cabin number. you make little gifts for those on the list and pick a day throughout the cruise to deliver your suprises. You can do one per family, one per person, whatever you want. I have done one gift for the grownups to share and then something else for the kids the times I have participated. There is a cutoff date - usually at least a month before the cruise - to give everyone time to get everything done.

It is really fun to come back to your cabin to find surprises. The kids love it! It can get expensive but it doesnt have to be either. For me, the bigger issue is space and weight in my luggage since we have to fly

Hello to everyone who has joined the group Cant wait to get to know all of you a little bit before we cruise.

Just wondering how many of you think you would like to participate in a FE group?

I have been reading some threads on the main cruise board about FE. Dont let those scare you off! I would say though if we get a big group, it would be nice to split it into two or more smaller groups. I have to fly and need as much suitcase space as possible

I can't wait for the FE exchange, our group ended up with about 15 staterooms which wasn't too bad at all!

I am very excited to participate in the FE exchange. My DD6 is already telling everyone that she will get to pass out presents on the cruise. I read through a lot of the posts about the FE exchange yesterday also. It made me more motivated to come up with a great gift.

We are new to this, but can we sign up for the fun?? It will be myself & my husband, along with our 5 year old boy/girl twins. I am excited that there are others that do plan so early as well!!!

Very much looking forward to getting to know everyone here, definitely think it will make the cruise even better! However, I am probably not going to participate with FE (I think sdjen asked). It looks like fun, but I am concerned about overwhelming myself since we'll be traveling with a baby.

Just wanted to offer help to the first time cruisers. I have only done two Disney cruises but if you need help or have any questions, I will do my best to help. I know there are others on our meets thread that will help too!

I remember being a little overwhelmed my first time. There are so many things to think about and make decisions. Also, it is fun to daydream about being on a nice warm beach somewhere

I find myself thinking about this cruise everyday. So fun to think about and plan my FE exchange gifts. I am a little confused on the FB page. Do people chat here or there? Is there a reason that the name of the page can't just be published for all of us so we can go join. It looks like people want to join but can't PM because of too few posts or people just aren't forwarding the invite.
BTW-This banana makes me laugh so it is my new signature.

Hi everyone! We too are on this cruise! My SIL and family are going too but she is already on this thread. I'd love to hear more about the FE exchange....I will start reading ASAP. Going on the cruise will be Myself (Lisa), DH, (kids ages at cruise time) DD8, DD4, & DD16months. We are very excited!

Hello all! So I've read quite a bit now about the fish extenders and gifts and I think it's an awesome idea! I'm not a crafty person so I'll have to find somewhere to buy an extender....I've heard esty is good. Is someone on here already compiling a list of those who are participating? I've seen a lot of magnets as gifts.....any other good ideas that anyone wants to share?

My next task is to book our DisneyWorld vacation preceeding the cruise. I hope the dates come out soon!

Hi everyone,

We just got off the Fantasy last Saturday and had a blast! We were on the Eastern to San Juan. We really enjoyed the Fantasy and can't wait to get back on!!!! This will be our 12th cruise. We originally booked the Jan 11, 2014 cruise, but found out my daughter has exams that week and had to change it. So now we are booked on this cruise and are so excited to be joining all of you!

On this cruise it will be (ages at time of sailing) Me: Vicki 43, DH Marty 46, DD Adriane 15, DS Zach 11, DD Stephanie 9, DS Isaac 6, DS Vincent 3, DS Elias almost 18 months.

We would also like to play the FE game. We enjoyed playing this on the ship. The kids, as well as us adults , look forward to checking our FE every time we come back to our room.

Looking forward to getting to know all of you.
