February 8th-16th

Just wondering if there might be any large gatherings during the week of February 8th-16th? Should the line queues be fairly short? Any advice for this time of travel?

Crowds should be light until the last day or two you are there when the President's Day week crowds will begin to build.

One bit of advice....pack a little of everything. You could have warm weather, cold weather, or both.

There is a cheerleading competition planned during that time but we have been there the week before Pres. Week for the last 3 years and really can't say it was too crowded. Be prepared not to see the Indiana Jones show at MGM as that is where most of the competitions take place.

As for packing.......expect the worst and pray for the best. 2 years of great weather (75+ everyday) did not prepare us for the really cold weather last February (25 degrees in the evening - record lows in Orlando, frost warnings, etc.) Thank goodness we arrived from New York where the weather was freezing so we had winter jackets, but we spent most of the first half of the week cold.
