Hello all! I will be on that 2/3 cruise! I am SO excited. It will be me, my daughter (4 1/2 at time of cruise), her dad and her grandma (her dad's mom). Grandma and I are both excited.... Her dad isn't (blah!!!). She doesn't know yet. I haven't decided if I want to tell her or let it be a complete surprise.

I am so excited that there is an "official" thread for us now. I kept checking back because I didn't want to be the one to start one. Haha!

Has anyone considered the Fish Extenders? I would LOVE to participate!

Don't worry, my husband wasn't excited at all either. I had been begging him for years to go on a Disney Cruise when he finally booked the trip. I think he booked it just to shut me up lol On the second night of our cruise though HE was the one asking me when I thought we should go on another cruise! He had a great time! We have this cruise planned as well as a cruise on the Wonder on 10/1/14.

I've never done the FE thing before. Hopefully someone will join this group that can help lead that operation because I really have no clue how it works!

We will also be setting sail with the rest of you! It is our first cruise for all four of us, and I know my 9 and 6 year old will love the FE's. If someone starts one, please let me know because we would love to participate in that! With this being our first experience I don't know what to expect, and therefore am not probably the most qualified person to try to set this up. Can't wait until February!

Hi y'all! I just booked this cruise on Friday!!!

My husband and I were on the 2/23/13 Magic sailing out of Galveston, alone. It was a very first cruise for both of us. The whole time, we kept saying "the boys would love this" "the boys would have a blast doing that" etc.

So....we booked this one and will be bringing our 2 youngest, twin boys that will be 4 1/2 at the time of sailing! My oldest son, who will be 9 and in 3rd grade, will not be joining us on this one, as he's in school and TX truancy laws are pretty tricky. I gotta find a way to get him on a ship though! We are SO thrilled to get to cruise again so soon (with a trip to WDW in the middle!) AND see the reimagined Magic!

I saw the mention of a FE group earlier in this thread. I was the coordinator of the FE group on our 2/23 cruise. We have decided NOT to participate in it this time, however, I am happy to help the brave soul that steps up to coordinate the FE group for this cruise.

We will be joining all of you on this sailing! We had a "dummy" booked for this October, and for months I've been saying, "I have to move it... I have to move it..." so alas, I finally moved it... to this sailing .

This will be DCL cruise #13 (unless we can sneak one in, then it will be #14 lol). We are looking forward to the upgrades on the Magic. I will be first in line for the Aqua Dunk . Our party is just me and hubby, and we are looking forward to another awesome cruise . 225 Days! It can't come soon enough.

Wow, 13 cruises! Awesome!! We can't wait to try the Aqua Dunk as well and I'm kinda excited to try the new Mickey slide as well. I think I just make the height requirement max by 1/4 of an inch

I have been on 18 DCL cruises (DH Dave has been on 15 - I went on 3 girls' only cruises!). In January 2014, we are doing B2B Wonder cruises - January 24 and 29; we get off the Wonder in Miami, staying overnight at DVC Vero Beach, then board the Magic on February 3 and staying on for the February 7th sailing. Then, I have to get out of cruise mode as we head to DVC Hilton Head for 2 nights, then head to Morgantown, WV to spend time with 2 of our 6 grandkids and their parents before heading home to mid-Michigan. We are also booked on the 11/1/14 Fantasy. We were supposed to be on the Vancouver to LA repo and the PC this September but had to cancel, so that is why we are doing B2Bs.

I see you live in the Orlando area. How fun! Are you a CM?

Hi dreabean13 - Somehow I missed your first post! Welcome!!!!

How exciting that you are suprising your daughter. I love watching the kids on the ship with all the excitement, the characters, etc. They are all so cute!

dreabean13 - where are you in Ohio? We travel through Ohio a lot to get to Morgantown, WV. In fact, we are going to Put-in-Bay in mid-July (not on a weekend though) and spending 3 days there.
