Greg & Bethany as the 2nd FE ?

That's what I had planned on, but wanted to clarify it for the other FE participants.

So funny ! I'm praying for snow tonight ! We hardly ever get any and we're suppose to have snow tonight and tomorrow !
we`re having another snowstorm here. heavy snowfall warning and blowing snow warning. wow the caribbean looks so wonderful right about now. we will be up shoveling tomorrow to get josh to his basketball game.
scrappycruiser do you think if you called the toll free number for dcl and talked to them maybe they would have a character come . cant hurt to try that would be so neat.!!

I will give that a try. If I don't get anywhere ,I'll ask when I get onboard. Hope you don't have to shovel much ! It's been almost 30 yrs since we lived in Alaska, but I'll never forget all the shoveling !!!!!! We are fortunate in that we only get enough to look pretty. We're only suppose to get 1-3 " and our church cancelled our annual chili cook-off for tomorrow night !

What is Josh's favorite pro- or college basketball team ? Tell him I said to have fun at his game tomorrow !

DOCS are really popping up everywhere !!

As far as the tips go, you can call DCL and pay ahead or you can go to Guest Services on the ship. Might be more convienient to pay on the phone. Toward the end of the cruise they'll give you vouchers and envelopes to give to the crew member. If you've had exceptional service you could add to it with cash.But certainly not expected.

The councelors in the kids clubs aren't allowed to accept cash. Thank you notes from the kids are nice, they love candy and phone cards are another thing that people give. Don't try to figure how many to give to. They pool all their "tips"

I usually keep a stack of $1's in a drawer for room service.

Hi All You Castaways !!

Someone has requested that I delete their cabin # from the disboards. After I thought about it, I decided to delete everyones. I am sorry If posting these numbers made anyone uncomfortable...just never occured to me.
We don't really need the cabin #'s until we pass out the FE'S. So at out DisMeet ,I'll make sure everyone has the #'s they need. I have deleted the cabin #'s from the most recent posts, but it will take quite some time to delete them from the entire thread. Please be patient. Thanks !!

Ok, so my wife is asking how many gifts do we need to participate in the FE. I guess, what we wanna know is how many people (roughly) are we giving to? what days, etc.

There are no "rules", feel free to do what ever you like. But as a guideline, this is what I am doing...

1 gift ( homemade ) for the cabin ( there are 11 )
1 gift per child ( inexpensive...ie, dollar store,Oriental Trader,etc )

There are more ideas if you search on the disboards.com

We'll just pick a day that we want to deliver our goodies.
2 families have picked Sun ; we have chosen Sat, the 1st day.
Do you have a preference ?

To receive your "goodies" just hang up your FE bag on your fish ( metal fish that's next to your cabin door ) and wait for your secret DisFriend to come.

Let me know if you have anymore questions .

Oh, we could get 1 or 2 more families to join the FE Exchange. The deadline is this Sunday. So next Monday I'll give everyone the final #'s .
