February 26, 2011 - 7 Night Caribbean Sailing

Not long now sea mates :cool1: We leave a week today :) Kids are packed, just have to pack DH and myself!

Is the FE list an image? THat would probably explain why I don't see it. I knew it was there before when I was putting them together. I can't see images from work. I guess I need to check and print tonight at home. LOL.

Cassie - any word on Mike? I hope he is doing better. I am thinking about your both.

If you can't get the list from your home computer, let me know...I will send you the list I have.

I am so excited...I can't wait. We leave a week Friday. We will be having lunch at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I'm getting super excited! I started packing for the kids yesterday. Made a trip to the pharmacy today for bandaids, tylenol, dramine, type stuff. Hopefully by Saturday we have everything planned out to pack so I have Sunday to run to the mall for anything we still need!

I think my 3 year old was most excited when she heard we get to take a bus from the airport to the boat! :rotfl: I hope the bus ride isn't the most exciting part for her as I could have saved a boat load of money if that is all she needs. LOL

Cassie, what horrible news about Mike being ill. I hope you get everthing sorted out and he is feeling ship shape soon. See you in a week!

We have done packing, thank goodness. Must get our US $ then I think we are all set. 3 more 12 hour shifts for me :banana::banana:

Hope everyone is healthy and ready to party:cheer2: It won't be long now.

Has anyone taken the shuttle from CIS and could they tell me how it works?

Bye for now!

Just came back from the doctors for my son and guess what.... he has the flu ugh..... The only silver lining is that it is now and not next Wednesday. He has to stay out of school for three days before he can return so he will now be missing school for nearly 10 days. Not what I was expecting. Thankfully I can pick up work from school on Friday and we then have three days to complete it before we hit the road. Another good thing is we have state testing starting on March 7th and so most of his classes are geared towards test taking etc. so they are not starting anything new right now and then we have two days of parent/teacher conferences so hopefully he will not be missing too much. Boy it is hard to have a plan of action with children isn't it.

Hope all is well with everyone - not long now:dance3:

Oh no - that's what my baby was diagnosed with last week (along with a double ear infection). I'm sorry he's sick and has to miss 3 days of school this week on top of the trip. I hope he's feeling better soon and no one else gets sick. At least we still have a few days to recover.

All set now. It didn't even occur to me that it was an image. I just thought I was losing my mind. LOL

I am so ready for this trip. I was afraid I was going to have to fly from TX to CA and back on the 24th before leaving for FL on the 25th but fortunately they moved the meeting to the 28th and gosh darn it I will be on vacation and someone else will have to handle it. I can't wait to unplug for a week and get away form work. Its been a rough and tiring day.

Good morning everyone,

In 1 week, we'll be gone!! My daughter started screaming during last night and complaining of a headache. Finally, it was a double ear infection. Like your baby peachygreen! SHe is now on antibiotics. I hope it clears up fast because ear infections usually mean no flying. But she has 7 days to recuperate so we should be fine.

The prep marathon starts tonight : photo class; tomorrow work and hairdresser and cleaning up of the house; Saturday house decorations, last touches on Sunday's party and supper with my hubby's relatives for his birthday; Sunday starting at 10h Baby shower with 50 reserved guests for my best friend's who's leaving to adopt in Columbia on Tuesday; then cleanup again. Monday : laundry; Tuesday : last minute shopping; Wednesday : packing the girl and summer clothes try outs; Thursday : my packing and Friday : GONE! I wish I could take a day off work... but as I'm leaving on holidays, they are adding more and more meetings, more and more hours.

I agree to meet after the tour on promenade lounge. How will I recognize you folks?

Hey everyone!

Mike was released Tuesday and is now on "couch rest". He's got antibiotics and pain meds because of the cath he was sent home with He's got a return appointment on Tuesday...let's hope he can empty his bladder then and we can go on this cruise!

Hi Cassie...still sending lots of pixie dust :tink::tink::tink:

Glad he is home from the hospital. Both of you take care.....:flower3:

I'm sorry your daughter has a double ear infecation. 1 weeks worth of Antibotics shoudl clear it up in time to fly. I'm debating going in for a check up on her ears to make sure they are clear before we leave. The last thing I want to do is get there and get a reoccurance on the boat.

I am so with you on wishing I could take a day off work to get things done. My work to do list keeps getting longer and longer. I really need this vacation.

I was wondering the same thing about how we would know who we were meeting.

I'm glad Mike is home now. I really, really hope he can get an all clear to go on the cruise.

Feel better soon, poor little thing. I am sure it will be much better in a week.

Feel better soon. With all these little ones sick now everyone should be healthy for the cruise. Hang in there it won't be long now.:thumbsup2

Thank you for the well wishes for DS. He is lucky that it was caught early on. He had a tickle in his throat Tuesday night and a fever of 101. He was prescribed Tamiflu on Wednesday and what an amazing medicine it is too. Just 24 hours later he is looking and feeling so much better, thank goodness:banana:

Looking forward to seeing that Magical boat in nine days..... We will get to see the Disney Dream leave port next Thursday as we are planning on being close by to see the shuttle launch.:cool1: We asked DS's if they wanted to do 4 days on the Dream or 7 days on the Magic and they were unanimous (sp?) in that they wanted to do the 7 days as it meant more days on the ship. I would love to sail on the Dream, but can wait, we may even book on board to make use of the OBC and discount they provide. Is anyone else planning to book while they are onboard?

We will def. be looking into booking on board this time. Kick myself for not doing it on our last cruise.

Got a message from my cousin on Facebook...they just returned from a cruise on the Disney Dream. They booked the maiden voyage of the Fantasy while still on board! Sounds like they have some great deals! We'll definitely look into this!

Oooohhh...so sorry to hear of all of the illnesses that are popping up! Hope everyone feels better very, very soon. Take care!

This time next week I will probably be doing some last second packing, dropping the dog off at the kennel, getting my husband's paycheck in the bank and all that fun stuff. We will leave about 10:30 or 11 from my DD's school to head to the airport.
