Hi to all our "new" friends on the board!

I am the sick one in our family Been taking antibiotic for about 5 days now and I am still wondering am I TOO old to have my darned tonsils out?!? Fortunately, DH and DS are feeling GREAT! I hope all the sick little ones feel better before cruise time!

I am packed and now heading upstairs to help DH and then DS

We leave CO early Wed morning and are all so excited I don't think we are sleeping very well here either!!

I hope you all have safe and uneventful travels to the port. We are looking forward to meeting you all at scoops on Monday 2/28! Now, I just need something lime green...

Has anyone seen the weather for our cruise? I have ,and I hope it changes for the better. As long as it does not snow I will be all set.

Thanks for the awesome welcome! Hmm, find something lime green in a couple of days... I'll try hard . We leave on Thursday afternoon and staying at RonJon's Caribe for two nights before we board the Magic. We also had the colds/flu run through our house two weeks ago! Glad it's over though, and keeping our fingers crossed for a 100% healthy week next week. We are almost done packing..little things left. Can't wait to meet ya'll! Livng through a snow storm as I write this... can't wait to see green grass

Hi folks. Well, its now snowing in UK, so guess its the best time to be packing for a Caribbean cruise!Suitcases almost full now, except for last minute bits. Almost a whole case filled with goodies for our daughter and her pals: never seen so much Cadburys chocolate in one place!

Should be a great cruise and lots of fun in the sun. Had to laugh about the teeth problems mentioned. I COMPLETELY missed our Cozumel visit 2yrs ago, due to my front crown falling out during breakfast in Lumierers! Spent all morning at the new medical centre in Cozumel having it replaced: then daughter took us to Carlos and Charlies - and that was a big mistake! Be warned............. DONT drink the huge cocktails there, unless you want to spend the rest of the day recovering!Haha.See you soon. Nat

Just got back from the Pediatrician's office with my 2YO DS & he has a sinus infection! I'll start him on antibiotics right away & by Friday he should be good to go.

estreet03032...what did you read about the weather for our upcoming cruise? We received about 5 inches of snow here Sat night into Sun morning & it's about 25 degrees right now...I'm REALLY looking forward to some warm weather!

Where can you find the weather forecasts for down there? I've been looking but have had no luck.

Just type in www.theweatherchannel.com and put in your city then click on the ten day forcast. that is it. But a little rain will not spoil our trip. It just beats all the snow I just shoveled off my driveway.Also does anyone know where I should go to sign up my daughters to get their hair braided on the ship?That is all i have to do when i get on board. Thank you

Hi fellow cruisers!!

This is my last post as we are leaving our home in Pueblo West, CO for Denver in a couple of hours...WHOO - HOO! It is supposed to snow in CO tonight and tomorrow so we are headed for the sun at just the right time! I can't believe it is finally here too!

Everyone travel safe this week and we look forward to meeting everyone Saturday and Monday.

Just to wish you all safe journeys to Port Canaveral! Cant wait to get that first glimpse of the Magic on Saturday morning. Almost packed here, ready to leave Friday morning on our long journey. Not sure if I'll have time to come up with something lime green for the DISmeet before we leave. You should all be able to recongnize me though...after the day I had today with my 2YO DS (think Damien), I'll be the two-fisted drinker mom hanging out by the pools!

Wow!! Time is just about here!!! Our house is so full of excitement!!! We leave on Saturday VERY early am. Everyone thats leaving earlier travel safe and I too am jealous!! See everyone on board !! Patti

Well, we're pretty much ready for our Friday a.m. departure. Just a few "grooming" details to take care of.

Josh's tooth came out last night and the smart kid left a note for the tooth fairy, asking for $2US instead of the normal $2CAN! At 2 a.m. he comes into our room to let me know that the note worked and that he had indeed received two one-dollar US bills!

Happy and safe traveling to all...see you onboard.

It sure hasn't looked like a very nice day at the port today. This was the best picture I've been able to get all day. Someone asked if I could try and capture some pics of the Magic today, so here you go. I'll try and capture the Magic as she sails by Two Palms later today.
