February 25th Magic Cruise Board

Taking a page out of dizzi's book tonight and reading the boards on te elliptical machine. Preparing for the cruise in TWO ways - a multi-tasker's dream come true!!!

OH YEAH!!!

LOVE IT!!!

I was trying so hard to run the 3.1 at CC.

But i started not really liking the time i spending on the tread mill
So i went back to doing to incline instead of the running and really enjoy reading the bards while i work out.

ITs more important for me to enjoy my workout every day than to do the 3.1.

If i do it great if not great too!!!:confused3

10:40 and i guess i am going to work on a shirt for a little bit.

ALmost done with shirt #2...........
UGHHH

shirt 3 and 4 are just iron ons....so hopefully they are much easier than shirt #2
(shirt #2 was my JUST MARRIED shirt so it had to be perfect)

ANY LUCK WITH THE GRAPHIC

I would love to just be abel to print it out and slapsome magnets on it....

I have soo much left to do?

Me too - but I'm going to skip. I don't want to bring the jogging stroller in order to bring the littles with me, and I'm not sure I want to spend that much time away from my family on Castaway Cay day. I understand a 5K doesn't normally take people too much time - but I am *SO* not a runner! All my girlfriends run the Disney races (even the half marathons! and sometimes with their kids!) and I've always wanted to join the club, but it looks like I'm better suited to cheer from the sidelines. Preferably with a Dole Whip in my hand :)

Got a lot to celebrate ~ 8 more days until the hubby is home from Afghanistan, 10 more days until we go to Universal/Islands of Adventure for the weekend, and 45 days until we cruise! As soon as we come back from the cruise we're celebrating our 8th anniversary with a weekend away (with NO KIDS - first time ever!) and then our daughter's 5th birthday - what a whirlwind 60 days!

Last FE ingredient is scheduled to be delivered today. I suppose that means I can count on not getting any laundry or cleaning done after work! And I borrowed a Cricut that I've been dying to purchase to try it out for some labels or tags... Basically any excuse to cut paper right now :) Anyone have a Cricut and use it for fabric or fabric with fusible interfacing? I love making the kids custom shirts, and usually just trace & cut with scissors but I am type-A and was hoping to use the Cricut to make Mickey/Minnie shirts. Don't want to screw it up since it's only borrowed - if anyone has recommendations for the best blades/settings please let me know!

Ok...

We are calling a Family meeting in our house for MONDAY NIGHT.

WE have These often so the kids are not pressed about it.
WE make most decisions as a family, which could be any where from, where to go for vacation, cost of electric bill, changing phone plans, you name it, we let the kids in on most decisions, they are not the final sayer on most but you get the idea......

ANY WAY, we are discussing some things .....BUT i am telling them that we will be going on vacation, WE meaning Mike and I. And that they will be staying at home.

NOW IS WHERE I NEED YOU.........
TO TELL OR NOT TO TELL WHAT WE WILL BE DOING WHILE WE ARE GONE....
I have always taught my children to "regret what you do, not what you didnt do" I dont want to regret not telling them, i cant go back and let them join in to this day later, it wont ever happen again.

On the other hand, i dont want there opinion or thoughts, and i dont want anything but thats cool and i dont want jelousy's flairing for not being able to go with us.

Honestly i dont think they will be jelous.
I would like them to share in the day with us even if it is just by skype, or cell phone, and figuring out the logistics of that without them knowing before hand seems to be harder than i thought.

IF i tell them, i can tell the family, and maybe send out some kind of think of us at this time on this day, or even send out Balloons to my friends to release on a certain time.. which is what we plan to do at the ceremony, and was going to leave a box for the kids to open with balloons that morning anyway.

UGGHHHH.......:confused3

WOW....
2nd SHIRT......

MY JUST MARRIED SHIRT....... FINALLY FINISHED!!:cool1:

It is really for our Day in the Park, but i am sure we will wear them on the cruise sometime as well.

Will make for good pics on the Ship.:thumbsup2

sorry about your DH

what night are you doing Fantasmic
We also booked the Package with the Wilmingtons...on WED night...

We have booked Thursday night. With a 10 hour flight and a 6 hour time difference on Tuesday, we didn't want to commit ourselves to anything on the wed evening, so thought we would probably explore our resort (Saratoga Springs) and lunch at DTD (TREX) that day and maybe try one of the adventure golfs as DS loves them, then do the Thur and Fri at the parks.

Maybe a silly question - but what is a Cricut? Never come across one before - perhaps we don't have them in the UK? Or maybe I'm just not "crafty" enough to have come across them.

Its this thing that you put paper into and you can cut EXACT SHAPES WITH IT. (possiblu put fabric in it)

I think you can cut paper or fabric.
THINK APPLIQUE's
or
Perfectly cut and crafted paper or invitations.

I would imagine you could do 100s of ideas with it.

My email address for the FE list is droper23 at yahoo.com.

It is getting cold today and looking forward to some warm weather again!!

Amazon UK has them. Dizzi is right - you use cartridges with different fonts/shapes/etc. and it cuts out paper/fabric in precise shapes. I think it started for scrapbooking and cardmaking, but you can use it for anything. They also have one for cakes - I guess it cuts fondant or icing in certain shapes. My baking is delicious but ugly, so I'll stick to paper and fabric, and hopefully get some cute Disney shirts out of it :)

If you are going to regret not telling them, then you absolutely should tell them. I don't know the older ones, but A and J are such good kids. I can imagine that while there will be some disappointment that they won't be joining you, they will still wish you well and be happy for you. Just set your personal boundries before the meeting and know that it's ok for you and Mike to put yourselves first and have the wedding YOU want. After all, when your kids get married won't you do everything you can to give them the wedding they want?

Good luck! Let us know how it turns out.
