February 25th Magic Cruise Board

I didnt even know they closed it until today.

I messaged her and told her she shoudl not have closed the thread.

That wasnt cool

i didnt say anything off color....I did before i sent it but i cleaned it up.

I didnt want to be kicked off the dis before the cruise.

UUGGHHHH....people are soo touchy about the stupidest things:banana:

You're never getting hit by the Tag Fairy now. Nice going. :upsidedow

You're right, though. You just asked a question and then they started jumping on you without even reading your replies. Haters.

I have been on the baords for almost 5 years....i am never getting a TAG.

They havent liked me for awhile....and i really dont know why:confused3:rotfl2:

i have only done the wine tasting, and i would imagien if you like wine it would have been good.

i loved the champagne that was at the end and only one other wine tat they served but it was really good amount of each wine and it wa informative.

The sommelier's wine tasting (I guess it's premium pours vs. the regular wine tasting) was fabulous! We did both but definitely liked the swanky one better. The finale, where they slice off the top of a champagne bottle with a giant........butter knife...is particularly entertaining. :drinking:

oh yeah that was in our winse tasting too.

I always ask mike to do that but he never will.

Who cares?? EYE like you, and that's really what's important, right? :lmao:

By the way, I found our new smiley -----------> :hyper2:

Dizzi I am seriously impressed by your coordination! I am one of those treadmill runners at the gym that if I get distracted start veering to the side and end up doing the treadmill stumble ..... Great entertainment for the other gym goers

oh i have stumbled a couple times....thanks god i wasnt at the gym.

My DD was wishing one night that she had he video camera....

Thankfully i havent fallen yet:cool1:

It's always subject to change, but I think it's:

Saturday - welcome aboard dinner
Sunday - formal
Monday - regular rotational dinner
Tuesday - pirate night
Wednesday - regular rotational dinner
Thursday - semi-formal
Friday - farewell dinner

FOr those who are new to cruising or Have not been to the saints.

THis was my first cruise and it was unexepected for me, our first 2 days we are at sea!!!!:scared1:

THis means that we leave Sat at 5ish and we will not see land again until Tuesday when we get to St Martin 9 am ish.....If you have never been away from the land that long it is a LONG FREAKIN TIME!!!!:rolleyes1

First Day i couldnt even eat at our table for dinner (newbie cruiser+ hurricane ) me and DD went back to the room ordered chicken noodle soup and then threw it up. Many people were throwing up in the halls just about everywhere and I gotta say by the middle of Sunday i wanted off the dang ship. Still had another day and half to go.:3dglasses

BUT when we FINALLY started pulling up to ST MARTIN and i saw for the first time those mountains coming up out of the sea i was hooked.:dance3:
I just knew i had to figure out a way to get through all those sea days to get there.

Now dont get scared.....The Hurricane really rocked our boat. And contributed highly to the vomiting everywhere. We even missed CC this cruise. Alot of the CMs even got sick and they were passing seasick meds out like candy at the Desks. CMs were syaing WORST weather they had ever seen.:sad1:

But just wanted you to be prepared, FIrst about preparing your brain for the thought of not seeing land for over 48 hours and IF you think you might get seas sick take care of this BEFORE we even start to move!!! and keep taking care of it as the meds suggest.

I always take meds before boarding just to be safe even though i havent felt too sick on a ship in a while. BUT after you are sick it is toooooo late!

I'm finally chiming back in, didn't want you to think i was ignoring you!

1. I live in Sandusky, right on the lake, so Dizzi -the thought of 48 hours plus without seeing land doesn't scare me.

2. The thought of someone typing on the treadmill does! :rotfl:

3. Like the "saints" cruise name, but think we need to toss some devils into the mix, as I will be the first to admit I'm not an angel or a saint!:littleangel: :rolleyes1
And i get the impression that some of you are a little on the not-so-innocent side too! :lmao:

4. We're looking at the Bernards tours too - there's 5 in our group, me, DH, DS 6, and my parents. I love the idea of a bit at the beach, seeing Maho, and just tooling around the island!

Gotta get back to work - more later!

:goodvibes

Hi, we made it to double digits, 99 days till we set sail! We did Bernards tour 2 years ago and loved it. Like I said this is our first Disney cruise. I think I have half of the Disney store in my bedroom. The next 6 weeks will b busy, so time should fly by.

OMG! I'm "dizzi" just folowing the thread! LOL! Sorry it's been awhile-work and all! I like the "Saints" name though a total oxymoron for me!!! Looking forward to the cruise and FE. As I previously stated, this is our first cruise so we are new to this. I think we will just follow the pack for now. Emmysdidi, I will send off my room number to you so you have it and we are also on deck 2 because I wanted a window as well. I'll try to keep in touch more often and please don"t treadmill and text-you may end up needing my services! LOL!
:yay:

That's funny! What, might I ask, gave you the impression that we are less than saintly? :lmao: I am so not creative when it comes to this kind of thing, but Lynn (dizzi) can probably find a way to spice up our name!

Are you guys doing the main tour, or booking private? The dizzis and my family are going together, five in all, and we were trying to decide which way to go. We want to do Galleon (?) beach instead of Orient, spend some time at Maho, have a nice lunch and then shop. If 10 of us from the same ship are on one tour, I wonder if it would basically be private anyway.
