Hello There!

My daughter Tori (DD20) and I just booked a 4 Night Cruise on the Magic departing from Port Canaveral February 24th, 2014! Will anyone else be joining us?

I'm very excited about this cruise because it's to be our "reward" for running the WDW Princess 1/2 Marathon on Sunday the 23rd. We're not really runners at the moment, but we plan on working hard all year and training to make our dream come true. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than rest, relax and recover than leaving on a Disney cruise the next day! I can't believe that I'm going to run 13.1 to catch the Magic!

I searched through the threads but couldn't find one for our cruise.

This will be my second Disney Cruise (3rd Cruise overall, I did one on NCL) and my DD's 1st. She hopes to apply for a DCL job next year when she turns 21, and so this is a bit of a "test run" for her, a research cruise so to speak.

Our first cruise was the 4 night bahamas on the disney dream. Have you gone on the magic before?

I have not been on the Magic yet, my first cruise was a 3 night on the Dream. I'm interested discovering the differences.

Us too we wanted to see the different shows and restaurants I am wondering how the dry dock will change the ship

I'm excited that we'll be on after the dry dock. If nothing else it means that everything will be spruced up a bit, I've been reading that the Magic has been looking a little tired. I've got my fingers crossed for Magic Portholes, but I'm not counting on it. I do hope that they make some sort of announcement about what's getting done soon.

I've been trying to decided if I want to do a Port Excursion in Nassau. I didn't care for my trip to the zoo & city tour last time and if it was just me I'd stay on the ship. This will be my daughter's first time out of the country though.

Yeah we weren't thrilled about Nassau but we didn't do any excursion just wandered the shops. Which was still kinda fun but since we are 25 there was only so many shops we could look at lol. We are super excited for this cruise since we have done a cruise before we know more of what to expect. The night clubs on the dream were pretty cool so hopefully those will be nice on the magic. Lol

Booking this week, me (Laura) BF (Robyn) and our two nephews Bobby 13, and Cole 4. Soooo excited! Our second Disney Cruise, both on the Magic. The boys first cruise.
