February 23, 2015 DREAM 4 DAY Cruise

Now that we are officially about a year out from the cruise, wondering if anyone is considering any excursions for Nassau or Castaway Cay? Year seems so far away on paper but will end up here in no time.
I don't think we have much planned, few may get off and do some shopping in Nassau and rest will probably stay onboard and take advantage of shorter lines for the aqua duck! In castaway Cay, hopefully water will be warm enough to just enjoy swimming and couple of raft rentals. I also plan to look into the stingray adventure there since we haven't tried it on past cruises.

My name is Jen and I am 99% sure we are going on this cruise. It will be my HONEYMOON!! I'm so excited We are actually getting married on Feb 14th. I thought it was sweet, and go on this cruise (because it is $500 cheaper than the week before haha)

Anyway, it will be me and my DF David. I am going to try to get him on here, but hes not much of a chatter lol

Thank you so much! My last name will be Emert so we are the Emert's! (wow that sounds weird hehehe) and does the box that says "Cruise Meet" mean that you want to meet up before the Emergency drill at 4? If so, Im in! Otherwise, I dont know what that means

Just updated the FE Sheet with name and DIS Meet.
As for the meet, I am not certain when/where that will take place but I imagine closer to sailing 4happybogles will share details for the meet with those interested in participating.

My sister suggested the Explore Atlantis excursion in Nassau. I've been looking at reviews on the boards to see if we want to do this.

I'm sure that would be a fun excursion. I have read about people booking a room at the Comfort Suites to gain access to the Atlantis water park. I guess it can be cheaper in some cases.
I think some of our party is planning to head over to Atlantis for part of the day to gamble away in their casino.

We just reserved this cruise as a surprise trip to my boys!! I'm super excited, it will be our first family cruise that they'll remember (I brought my oldest two on a short carnival cruise in 2006, it was just okay).

Traveling: me- I'm Kate! DH is Mike, ds1 Andrew, will be 10, ds2 MJ, will be 8, ds3 Alex who will be 7.
We live in upstate NY and are currently printing out tshirts that say "we survived winter 2014"
