This ought to be exciting. We're booked on a 6pm flight tomorrow night out of Providence, which is two hours south of our house.

The forecast is now calling for a snowstorm tomorrow all day. I'm going to really NEED this vacation after driving for two hours in a snowstorm and probably having major flight delays!

Yes welcome home! I just wanted to say I had so much fun meeting everyone. It was great to see familiar faces around the ship and stop to say hello. And when she finally managed to loosen up, Julia had a great time with some of your kids!

We all enjoyed coming back to our room and finding fish extender gifts. Thanks so much...you were all so generous! At least one person (Cayley?) might have noticed my fish extender went missing one night during dinner. It mysteriously returned the following evening! I could hardly believe it!

Thanks to everyone for making our magical vacation just that much better!

PS: We got more than 20" of snow the week we were gone!!! Guess I got the timing right on this vacation!

Hi everyone!

We'd like to welcome everyone home as well and thank all of you for the amazing FE goodies! It was so nice to meet everyone - I felt like we already knew each other!

Chloe, Clement and I had a truly magical time and were so sad when we had to leave. Hope everyone had a safe trip home and hopefully we can all meet up again someday!

Hi all from Elizabeth, Jeff, Madeleine and Riley:

The cruise already seems so far away. We had terrible ice and snow here in Ontario yesterday - it's so hard to believe that Castaway Cay was only a week ago.

I was at a function yesterday with another parent on our girls' School Council and she and her family are boarding the Magic on Saturday for the Western itinerary. The more we talked about, the more depressed I became!!!!!!

Our girls also really enjoyed the FE experience on board. It was fun for them to find all the goodies, and some of the treats made it into their knapsacks for the flight home. Saturday was a long day for us - the flight was delayed once, and then again with all of us boarded and waiting on the tarmac. We didn't get home until midnight....

Hopefully we'll keep this thread alive and chat from time to time.

It was great meeting y'all. I would also like to thank you all for the FE gifts, our kids just loved it and that brought so much joy to us. I am so missing Castaway Cay right now. We can't wait until we go back in September (DVC Cruise)!!!

Hello everyone,

Glad to hear people have made it back safely. We were delayed one whole day and had a rough flight back in to the UP but we made it safely and things are returning back to the same routines
Elizabeth----I will try to get that pic off to you soon. I haven't forgotten.
Allie had such a great time with your family. We are booked again for Dec 2009 Eastern, but might try to swing it over to February 2010.
Thanks again fellow DISer's .........It was a wonderful trip and I hope to see some of you again soon in our travels

I forgot to mention, I heard from Pubmaster Paul at Diversions on the final night that Patrick Dempsey (Dr. McDreamy on Grey's Anatomy) was on our cruise. Anyone think you may have seen him? I know I probably could have been sitting right next to him and wouldn't recognize him, lol.

Also, is anyone doing a TR? I'd love to read it if you do!

No way! Hopefully he wasn't sitting behind me during "Enchanted" when I was commenting on his "Can't Buy Me Love" days. If he was around, I sure didn't catch sight of him!

We had a wonderful time on the cruise. Thanks for all of the fish extender gifts. They were all wonderful. Kayley really like them. It is had to believe we were there 15 days ago. It seems like ages and now I am always cold. Having issues adjusting to the weather. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories.
Julia and Riley ~ Kayley had a wonderful time. She has been nonstop talking about it. Hoping to get letters out soon.

We are also looking at the Dec 2009 Eastern and hoping to change it to Feb 2010. Maybe some of you would like join us...
