We got our cruise docs today! and we got a snowstorm! The roads are soooooooooo bad...I can't wait until I'm in the sun!

The TA got ours yesterday, but they actually arrived here today! We live in the sticks so I figured it would take a few days for them to get to us - pleasantly surprised to see them in the mail this afternoon!
Glad to hear we aren't the only ones in the province who are getting hit with a "lovely" storm tonight! Power starting to flicker already, and up to 30 cm of snow followed by freezing rain and rain? GREAT! Makes getting out of here that much sweeter!

Aw...our docs are pier pickup. I miss that excitement of getting the stuff in the mail... knowing you just have a few more days to go....

Well it is a typical grey, dreary, cold Winter day in Germany. We have been pretty lucky with the sun, but days like today make me forget that very quickly and long for a beach. How lucky that we get to go to one soon!

Did anyone get any upgrades?

The roads were so bad last night but it doesn't look like we got all the freezing rain. The plow went up the road at 5am this morning so I think the roads are ok today! I hope mother nature got this storm business out of her system. I don't want a storm for our wedding on valentine's day!

High of 13 and snow today. But it's supposed to be up to 46 on Saturday!

Actually, not to be a complainer, but I'd rather it stayed 30-32, so the snow on the ground didn't get slushy. Makes for a less messy time at the dog park.

Snow everywhere here, -30 with the windchill, but the sun is out in full! I will take this weather now and save the snow storms for when we are out at sea. The countdown is fun in the teens, just think, next is single digits!!

Hello,
Just saw this posted somewhere else, so I thought I would share in case it's of interest to anyone:

Looks like a shuttle that was scheduled to launch on the 12th has been bumped to the 19th at the earliest - fingers crossed it will happen on the
20th! That would be a nice added bonus to our trip, since we're going to be in the area that night anyway. I can always hope, can't I?
