February 2025 Car Rental Deals

Right now, I have a standard SUV for 9 days with Hertz for 379.00 I used Rakuten and went to Expedia and reserved it. It was a Black Friday deal.

Got a compact SUV through Autoslash / Priceline for $402.74 for 7 days. Hoping the price comes down some, but will deal with it if it does not.

Check your rentals. My early February rental through Costco finally started to trend downward today. Feb. 7-15 Standard Elite SUV through Budget went from $510 to $472.

Me too, was holding at 725 for the first two weeks of Feb, yesterday got down to 568, all booked via Costco Travel website. Compact SUV at Alamo. Means standard at MCO.

Funny, for my first two weeks of Sept, 693 for a luxury at Alamo, as compact/std SUV was over a thousand. I will keep doing that rinse and repeat until much closer to my arrival time. Hoping to get even lower, and for the SUV rather than the luxury one.

Hope all enjoy lower rates next month.

I'm not sure what is happening with Alamo. We are going for three weeks in February and we have always rented from Alamo (through Costco) as they were usually the best price. I like dealing with them so was hoping to get our vehicle there again. The Budget rates are much better and have been for several months now. I check a few times per day and I have a minivan for $1190 for 21 days and a Standard SUV for $826. I want the van but if the price doesn't drop, I'll get the SUV. I just don't understand Alamo prices not dropping in at least one category. They were always the most competitive through Costco. I'll keep checking but anyone know what's up with Alamo?

I would guess that Enterprise Holdings renegotiated their contract with Costco to more closely align with what their regular prices are. Even though not a Costco member, I check the box when using Autoslash, if it saves me enough I'd consider getting one. The only Costco rates that came close to what I had were Budget and Avis. I start my trip on Tuesday and the best price I was able to get was using AAA through Hertz. I'll be out of the airport within 10 minutes of my bags hitting the carousel.

A couple weeks ago my rental for Feb 13-17 went down to 276 for a Minivan thru Alamo. I don’t need a minivan for this trip, but it was ironically the most economical choice! I prefer Alamo, but will rent from Budget if the price is significantly less. Unfortunately, I have had to use Budget more in recent years than I would like. I also used Costco.

Yay now down to 551 for my 2 weeks.

Kids just came back from last week, and got a VW suv and loved it, as had heated seats.

I always check rates, military, AP, and Costco. I find Costco having the best rates versus the other discounts. And I tend to stick with Alamo or Enterprise, as they share the same cars. Once in awhile, with National, as like going to a set line of a mix of cars. But they have tended to be much higher lately.

And I always like going right to the car.

Avis prices are down this morning! My parents are flying in and out of Tampa and have a full size reserved for $616 for 13 days (down from $736)

Thanks for posting! I checked again and saved a little more! Every little bit helps!
