February 2016--renovation impacts?

Which resorts will have (or are rumored to have) renovations going on in February that would affect our visit--things like outdoor construction, planned pool closures, etc? I'm not worried so much about rooms getting renovated, it's more the outdoor stuff. I'm trying to figure out where we might like to book at our 7 month window and if we end up traveling with friends, I'd like to have our stay be nice!

I don't think pool closures are usually announced 7 months ahead, at least not that I remember. It is true that pool renovations do sometimes happen in February. Sorry. Maybe someone else with more info will post here. Good luck!

WL will most likely have the most construction followed by the poly finishing up. I haven't heard of any others. BW and BC should be completed by February.

Nothing has started at VWL yet but if the plans that were found are correct the villas pool could be under construction. BCV and BWV will usually have their annual refurbs in Jan/Feb but the exact timing isn't usually announced until much closer to that time.

Thanks! Think we'll stay away from VWL until after all the construction is completed. The one time we stayed at VWL we only used the villas pool, I'd prefer to have that open. Yeah, we've stayed at BWV when the slide was closed, but pool open as they were repainting the structure. Doing enough BWV visits that we'd like to try something else for a change. (Although BWV is our favorite!)
Poly--the pool near the villas should be closed until early 2016...wonder if it will be done by February. While we like going to feature pools, we also love the convenience of using the pool near us, especially after getting back from a theme park at night.

I'm worried about BCV and whether it will be finished with their major rehab by then. I remember that when I was there in January, they were supposed to be starting, but it keeps being pushed back further and further. I think, maybe, they're just beginning the rehab now. We have reservations there for Marathon weekend in January 2016, DH is doing the Dopey and will no doubt want to nap. I'm having fears that the "Disney magic-making" banging sounds of construction may still be going on. I wouldn't totally trust February 2016 at this point, either. Sorry to be so negative, just lack of trust.
