Yeah, I talked to him today on phone and he is ready to hit the road.
Randy, I don't get off until midnight tomorrow night which is about the time you're heading out. Give me a call if ya want some conversation I typically go home, post a little, and then go out to the shop and work on something.
Actually, the big Bama "swoosh" looks good on just about any vehicle at the Fort.
It's especially popular with Crimson Tide fans around the world in the long term and Ohio State fans more recently. It would add untold value to the cart, jbrostek.
I've heard "Roll Tide" all over the Fort. It makes everyone's day better.
Made if home today around 3 this afternoon, packed a few more items in the camper, and made that last minute run to Walmart. My father in law brought some of their stuff to load up in the camper, their renting from Greenberg Rentals so, we'll see how that goes, I'll post some pictures of the camper they rented for those who are interested in Greenberg Rentals.
Ed you can help me wash my truck in the morning before we warm it up to leave out in 24 hours.
Tomorrow I need to wash the truck, flush the antifreeze out of the lines in the camper, put some water in the fresh water tank, and go over and make sure I haven't missed anything but I'll bet Bama_Ed's favourite kite that I will end up forgetting something, I always do...
8 days to departure day! 7 days left to get it all done. Tonight I take care of the seats on the golf cart and tomorrow finish that project up and deliver it to the shop Saturday. With both carts now ready to go we just need to get them loaded up on the trailer and put the trailer somewhere it won't get buried in the lot.
More packing last night, finally opened up the RV, did another check on toiletries and yep nearly forgot something so added to next weeks shopping list. Also brought a few recent bags of dry goods into the RV, I been slowly gathering up the items that will come out of the house instead of buying doubles of it all.
Caren came by last night since the kids where with her ex, she also did a quick inventory and helped me get some of my clothes sorted to load into the RV. She told me she will be ready to load everything Friday, I told her don't wait till the last minute or you will forget something. Being we are so close its not like its a long drive to bring stuff over.
That being said sounds like a threat of 2-6" of snow Monday/Tuesday. I am hoping it turns into a no show or non event really. Looking forward to seasonal temps at Disney at this point.
Well I got up this morning around 4 am, so I can maybe feel tired enough to get some rest this evening. We finished loading the groceries in the camper. Truck is full of 135 gallons of diesel, just wait for it to warm up some so I can wash it. Had to run to town for some errands and stopped here at the Waffle House for some breakfast. Hmmmm waffles...
BTW Hey Ed, we're you make the comment about the price of the 6 seater cart, I heard back from the lady at Tee Time, for 6 seater the first 7 days are $55 then day 8 through 10 it's drops to $35 a day. After the 10th day it drops to $25 a day. It's like Disney park tickets the "longer you stay the cheaper it is to play". Thank ya thank ya very much. (In my best Elvis voice)

Well we have slid under the 2 week mark. Only 13 days until departure, and 17 until we hit the Fort. Still waiting to see what kind of snow we get next week, Was going to move the trailer, but now will wait until after the snowfall then move it.
Well PaHunter looks like I'm about to kick off February's trip reports! We're all loaded up, for the most part anyhow, just running around doing a few last minute odd and ends. Fill my fresh water tank with a third of tank. Washed my truck, hooked up and ready to roll.
Here a picture of my parents setup,
The train is pulling out of the station at midnight! Hardest part will be trying to catch a nap here in a little bit.
Well good morning from Lake City, Fl. at the Cracker Barrel. Been a uneventful drive so far except for my dad got his truck stuck in the yard last night at midnight. Sorry I didn't get any pictures, I backed up to him and hooked a strap to my back bumper of my camper (thats rated for 50lbs) to the front of daddy's truck, pulled both camper and his truck out, no problem, my wife said "oh lord I see your head swelling up".
Tiggerdad, your little furry friend was right, we have landed us a spot in the over flow, for now. My parents landed on 861 and my in laws are in site 851.
