I have been trying for months on a good rate for 2/13-2/20. Saw this thread and the Brazil code - 7016427 for Alamo. Booked full size for $145 plus fees totaling $202. If you wanted economy it was $155 total. Great deal. just hope no problems with the code.

Finally booked Alamo with the Vegas Brazil code- 2/27-3/5 for an economy with Alamo, $176 all in. Ideally I'd have it below 150. I don't need a car really, but we're going to visit my parents at the villages at the end of the week, and while they said they would come get us at Disney and drive us back to the airport, it would be nicer to be on our own schedule.

Checked my dates again tonight with Dollar. Dates are 2/18 -2/22. If I put in noon to noon, it comes up as a "4 Weekend days at $33.15 per day" (total - $203.65). But if I use my actual arrival times for about 9 am and return at 3 pm, it change to a weekly rental "1 Week at $285.95 per week." (total - $334.09)

That is crazy that the price is that much higher for 6 hours. Sheesh. Glad I got the rental at National.

Thought this was really weird but it is cheaper for is to rent for a extra 4 hours we were debating

2/3 10:30 pick up MCO or Dolphin drop off 2/10 2:00 MCO was able to get a Intermed. SUV for 182.82

2/3 2:00pm pick up MCO or Dolphin and drop off 2/10 2:00 MCO a Intermed. SUV is over $300

I am going Jan 22-Feb 2 and just rechecked my minivan rate for 11 days with Dollar and dropped to 235 using DEK30 this morning. Just in case anyone is interested. I have been checking and rechecking since Aug/Sept on rates and this is the best rate for a minivan I have gotten (includes taxes & fees) and is straight to the garage.

Just checked Alamo for 2/26 - 3/4 and it's finally come down to what I consider a reasonable rate. $271 for a full size rental. That's using a VISA discount code.

Saw a slight drop today for those like me who are watching for a daily discount -- transportation to and from the Disney Cruise. I'm lucky enough to have a few free days on my National account. Was hoping to hold on to at least one of them, but they do come in handy. This was on both National and Alamo.

Last night I checked and the Dollar "City Special" on their site it saved me $38. I dropped from $211 to $173 for Feb 6-12 (Cape Canaveral to MCO) for a standard vehicle. Going to keep checking but I am pretty pleased with this for 6 nights/7 days (we are dropping off at 7 pm on Feb 12). Does anyone think it'll drop more??!!!

I saved another $25 last night off our minivan rental through Alamo. We are at $182 for Jan. 30-Feb. 6 using the BJ's Wholesale ID and Entertainment book $15 off coupon. I am very happy with this price but will continue to monitor to see if it goes down any further.

Thought I would share a coupon code that a found for alamo on the carrentalsavers website. I went on alamo site and used this coupon along with BJ wholsale contract ID #7014696. The coupon is AD3868JST it takes $25 off. It says 25 OFF SPECIALTY but seems to work on about everything. I'm getting a midsize suv Jan 29th to Feb 4th for $143.27. PIck up mco drop off Tampa. If anyone knows any info about this coupon please share.

My Costco reservation is down by $25 for our 4 day rental to $115 USD. I just checked Expedia and I can get the same rental now with Firefly for $70 USD. I considered Firefly before, but have not tried them. They are supposed to be in terminal at MCO. Anyone used them before?

Okay, I just used the Alamo code for the $25 off a specialty as mentioned above and got a midsize SUV for $205. I'm very happy with this price. I generally don't like using codes mentioned by others, i.e. the "Brazil" code, but I decided to go with this one. I guess worse case scenario, they tack the $25 back on.
