Yay to Canadians!

We are from northern Ontario (the big empty space between Thunder Bay and Winnipeg) and we are driving down on an epic family roadtrip. We will be on the road for three weeks total, eleven days staying at the Fort And on the way there and back visiting a lot of places we have always wanted to go to including five days in New Orleans including Valentines Day! We will be there February 2-12.

My ADR window opens Aug 6 and I am losing my mind that the operating calendar isnt up yet!

Me and hubbie are travelling with (then) our 2, 14 and 16 year old daughters. If you see a curly haired girlie huddled up in the washroom wearing pjys with a bottle of wine rocking back and forth that will be me.

If we drove straight it would be a 36 hour drive from here. We arent that brave!

It is great you joined our party! Do you know where you will be staying?

I am with you in being anxious about planning without the operating calendar yet. It is hard to believe that our ADR windows are fast approaching!

What restaurants are you thinking about trying? I am still trying to figure it out.

Okay...so no February park hours yet. For someone that relies heavily on a crowd calendar this is not looking good for me to plan my days before making ADR's. Especially since I'll be eating at two TS restaurants a day.

mdsouth - my dates have changed! I'll be at POFQ from February 1st-7th.

I made the changes to the list for your dates. Any news on the crowd calendar yet?

For those of you looking for crowd calendars for February 2014

I just found some at Undercover Tourist's site. It identifies recommended parks but does not list any specific hours.

Has anyone went with the Undercover Tourist's recommendations in the past? If so, how did it work out?

Still on the lookout for the Feb park hours calendar but no luck. We are making our ADR's tomorrow so will do the best we can. Mostly focused on BOG, CRT and Ohana. Here is hoping we get a little

Hi mdsouth - thanks for asking! I did have some problems with the site - neither the new site nor the old site would let me in. So frustrating and I was so excited and looking forward to making the ADR's. After about 5 minutes my daughter was able to get into the site and made all of them! We could not get the time we wanted for BOG - for a table of 6 we had 5pm or earlier. With two tables - one of 4 and one of 2 we were able to get a time of 6PM. We stuck with the 5PM so we could be sure to be seated together. We consider ourselves lucky to have gotten BOG! A few other time changes but we got all the dates we wanted and all the restaurants that we had hoped to. The pixie dust you sent - must have landed on my daughter thank goodness, I must have ducked and missed it


One bit of advice that was helpful - it was suggested that we push the ADR's we really want the most for the later part of our trip so hopefully not as booked up. BOG was 180 + 8 and we are still making a few more since they were past the 180 + 10 timeline.

Now I have to wait for the 'Wishes Dessert Party." Have never done that and it sounds like something to experience - but I guess that comes out about 60 days prior. Also have not seen February park hours yet but just getting home from work so have not done a lot of looking around yet today.

Seems like we are always waiting for something - planning and anticipation, part of the Disney experience

It will be our first time to WDW but I have asked other about the weather and there are even responses in this thread about the weather being unpredictable. The weather runs anywhere from the 50's to the 80's. I suppose it depends on what type of weather you consider swimming weather

LOL long flight indeed! 28-35 hours of travel time with two layovers each time! Can't imagine how bad the crick in our necks will be Must be exciting for you too - 1st visit!

There's a thread that discusses all kinds of speculations. A lot of them thinks it's because EMH is going away. Seriously?

If EMH is going away, I will cry...real big fat tears! EMH is a huge perk to staying on site. I, and others, may reconsider hotels if this perk disappears.

I'm actually planning to avoid EMH parks, but I know there's a lot of people who'd just be devastated if this is true

So excited to have found this thread.

We normally go in Oct, Nov or Dec.

We had to skip this year, but didn't want to wait until almost the end of 2014 to go, so we just booked for Feb.

We are staying Feb 6-12 at Pop.

This will be our first time going in Feb. I am very excited to try a new time of year.
