February 2012 Check-in!

We will be there staying at Hojo's from 2/6-2/10. Celebrating 10 year anniversary and first trip for the whole family. (DD4, DD2)

Count us in...Jan 31st through Feb 4th!

We bought the "kids" the XBox DL Adventures game for Christmas and they've/we've been playing it all day today. Now we're super excited for our trip!

Fun! I can't wait to play that game. :thumbsup2

Yay! and THANX for starting this thread.
You are welcome! :goodvibes
Hi there!! My DH and I will be there 2/14-2/17. We are staying at the Ayre's Hotel. We are celebrating our 20th anniversary.

Happy anniversary to both of you! :)

Short stop before 50th birthday Mexican Riviera Cruise (born on Feb 14 - the BEST date of the year!)
PPH

:tinker:Poussière de fée!

We will be there Feb 3 - 8, staying at Desert Inn for the first time.

They just posted hours for the 7th, and Disneyland closes at 6, and doesn't even open earlier to compensate. Usually when they have an event, they open an hour or two earlier. Does anyone know what event is happening? Is this a cast party?:confused3

We'll be there for our first ever Disneyland trip (and first California trip) February 17 - 26 :woohoo::banana: Many time WDWers, but never been to the original park. Needless to say, we are very excited!!!
Myself (of course) with my DW and two DD's (19 and 23)
Arriving in SanDiego for a day, driving up coast and staying at the Anabella Hotel. Planning on doing Hollywood and the Disneyland Resort.
We've saved up a few milestone celebrations from the past year (Two 50th birthdays and a 25th anniversary) so we have some partying to do:cool1:

How wonderful!! I hope that you have a wonderful trip!!

Oh yea I've been waiting for this posting for months LOL. So excited it's getting so close! It's me, DH, DD (almost 6, second trip but first she'll remember) and DD (almost 2, first trip), my inlaws, my brother in law, his fiancee and their 2 boys (3 and 1). We're staying with our Shell vacations timeshare at Peacock Suites (any tips for this place is appreciated as I'm concerned about the trek to the parks with the babes and using ART).

Here's our driving, travel details:
(2/26-3/1)
2/25 Leave Sacramento and stay at in laws in Fresno
2/26- arrive in LA, dinner at Rainforest DTD.
2/27-2/29- in parks
3/1- DD turns 2 but we head home (might stop at the beach for an overnighter)

I know we want to do BBB and Ariel's one day with the girls. I'm calling to make our resies this week if I can. Other than that, I try not to do too much planning ahead with the thought of toddlers and babies ruining any plans LOL. Last time we did Disneyland was in2008 and DD was 2 1/2. She did great in her stroller and walking with us. However, my youngest DD who will be almost 2 is kind of a runner and hates to be in her stroller. I'm thinking of doing one of those strappy things to keep her connected to me, but I've never used one before. Any toddler tips are greatly appreciated.

I still have my LGM head on my Maclarent from our last trip, so I'll keep it there ;)

I'm taking our youngest for a surprise trip Feb 29-March 3rd. He's 5 and the youngest of 8 kids. I love Disney and this will be my 4th trip in a year. I took two boys to WDW in March, then we took all 10 of us on a two week trip to WDW in October and then my DH and I got away for a magical holiday trip to DL in December and now a surprise trip! So excited, I just wish he was tall enough for Indy! Now I have to figure out where to stay.

I heard a good story the other day from a friends daughter. When she was little they went to Disneyland and she was too short to ride Indy. They found out where Target was and were told that it was a mile away. Because they had flown in they walked to Target that was well over a mile away to get her shoes that had heels so that she could ride Indy. She got to ride it after a very long walk.:rotfl:

I did that once for my DD who was short for her age and wanted to go on these bumper boats and kids way younger then her were riding so I went down the street to walmart and bought her wedge flip flops, not sure what they make for boys but we might try them out or he will have to wait for our next trip.

It's so much tougher with boys isn't it? It's nothing to find a girls shoes with some sort of lift to it.

:)Hi all

DH & I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary via a trip to Las Vegas (for Super Bowl weekend festivities:banana:) then onto DL for 3 nights @ GCV:woohoo: 2/8 to 2/11.

My friends laugh when i tell them of the combo trip hmmph;) but it worked out so well last time i'll never visit either location solo as long as SWA offers such cheap flights into SNA.

fingers crossed that fantasmic is back on schedule but i'll be content to finally see small world, which was closed for rehab last trip.

We are going feb 8-12, staying at PPH! Excited to try Goofys!

We are going February 16-20 and staying at the Paradise Pier Hotel. It is just the kids and I for this trip, and we are meeting family there that live in CA. We haven't seen them in over 5 years, so we are all looking forward to it! :yay:

Is this going to be a Check-In thread? Is anyone going to keep a running list of who is going in February? I ask because I know there are quite a few DIS'ers on the board who like to do the actual Check-In threads with active lists (for the purpose of DIS'ers meeting up with other DIS'ers in the parks at the same time as their own trips), and if someone should happen to start one of those threads it may be confusing to have 2 separate February threads.

Is someone willing to start a list of February 2012 travelers in this thread and keep it updated?

I have been keeping an active, running list. Post 3 is updated 1-2 times a day.

I just changed the title to Check-in to avoid confusion.
