Thank you Kathy for the update. It is really nice to know who will be at DLR when we go.

I'm curious to see if anyone has ever stayed at BW Raffles? User ratings were quite high (4.2 out of 5 on Expedia) but it doesn't seem to be too popular around these boards. The kids suites were a hit with most users, which is what we're booked in. Its only 1.5 blocks to Disneyland I believe.

I could look into cancellations but I haven't yet heard anything bad about it. If I hear plenty, I'll definitely reconsider.

It doesn't get a lot of hype on the DIS, you're right about that. And I have no idea. We just got back from 10 nights at BWPPI which was fine...the location is incredible...but I'm sure they're not affiliated other than being Best Western hotels. Sorry.

OMG you guys, I just realized something. Our trip in February will be the first time in 7 YEARS that we will get to see the Haunted Mansion NOT dressed up as the Nightmare Before Christmas.

I LOVE NBC but I really prefer the original version of the Haunted Mansion. I am SO EXCITED! :yay::yay::yay::yay:

Hello all
New to the board, but have check out the web site several times while planning our trips! Planning our Feb trip and thought it would be fun to post. I will be there with my DH and DS (18 months old). :yay: So excited to take him when we are hoping the crowds are light. We took him in Oct and it was unseasonably crowded, for us anyway. We will be there Feb 5th -11th.

I have no idea if my kids will be brave enough for the Haunted Mansion. My oldest is 8 but she's a bit of a chicken... my almost 4 year old likely will want to try it but I think it might be too scary for her. I haven't been on it since '99 so I'm not sure what's changed...

Do you guys think that 4 is too young? I LOVE the HM but not sure if I could do it alone if dh has to stay with the kidlets...:lmao:

Welcome to the February thread! I will get you added to the list. Do you have a hotel nailed down yet?

I took my daughter on it when she was four and she did just fine. Sometimes people like to get cute in the elevator room and scream, which can scare little ones if they don't understand what's going on. But other than that and possibly the scene where Master Gracey is swinging from the rafters, it's really tame. I don't think four is too young.

My DS is 2. He liked the actual ride but the elevator part he was kinda scared. But he didn't cry...he just held on to me extra tight, and then he was fine after that.

The elevator is what got my kids the first few times too... :)

We are moving to California and driving out from Texas so of course a Disneyland trip has to be a part of it! Still not sure on the dates until my husband finishes all his training (he's in the Air Force) but we are hoping to be there the weekend of Valentine's Day for 2-3 days!

Welcome:wave2: I think your dates are great. Should be low crowds, but just be ready for cooler weather:)

February 23 to 25 at Grand Californian villas to celebrate my birthday!:goodvibes

I just got done booking our airfare and I'm so excited. We had a voucher from a flight that was canceled on Thanksgiving that I used for our trip back home, so I just needed to get us to Anaheim. I checked on Alaska, and I had enough miles built up to buy one of our one-way tickets down to SNA...I was THIS CLOSE to having enough miles for both tickets but it didn't work out that way. Anyway, our airfare, round trip cost me $95 from Sea > SNA. Can't beat that!:banana::banana::banana::banana:
