February 2011 - who's going? - IT'S FEBRUARY! WAHOO!

February 20 - 23 at the DLH.

It will be our first visit ever to Disneyland!

The construction at the hotel makes me a little nervous but all will be right. We will be at Disney!

Now to figure out plans for dining, Fantasmic and general touring :)

My wife and I will be there (without kids for the first time) Feb. 16-19th, staying at the VGC. I cannot wait!

Hi! We do DL every year (though this last year we did WDW for the first time).

We will be in the parks on the 24th-26th and leave for Mexico on the Disney Wonder cruise the next day:) We are as of right now staying at Homewood Suites.

Welcome to the February thread everyone! I've updated the list - if I've left you off or made a mistake with any of your information, please feel free to let me know.

We are practically neighbors....I'm from Seattle.

It may be a busier week than normal, but there are ways to manage the crowds. :)

Hey neighbour! We're leaving from Seattle actually. Its about 1/2 the cost on flights compared to Vancouver. What's a little 2.5 hour drive when you can save $600 right? :cool1:

We're staying at BW Raffles. I haven't heard much about it here but the ratings on line seem alright and the price was good.

I hadn't found DIS before booking the hotel or I likely would have gone with Hojo or another one recommended. Ah well, I'm not too worried about it.

We JUST got back from DLR like 2 nights ago. But I'm already planning our next trip. LOL! But this time, we're leaving the 2yr old. It's sooo hard to travel w/toddlers.

We're planning on going from Feb. 26 - Mar. 2 since DH wants to be at Disney for his actual birthday (Mar. 1). We'll probably stay at Super 8 on Disneyland Dr.

i'll hopefully be there for my 19th birthday party the 18-19th with about 4-8 of my friends, i'm having a princess tiana themed party!:banana:

Heh....clearly you have not read my TR that is currently in progress! ;)

Just teasing....I'm sure it will be just fine. We just had a nightmare travel experience a few weeks ago for our trip because I thought I could save us some $$.

:rotfl:

Is your hotel already paid for? It may not be too late to change!

Hee! We just got back Sunday night! Got you added to the list.

Do you know where you'll stay? I've got you added to the list, too.

Howdy neighbor! What part of Seattle do you live in? We're in QA.

I live in Shoreline. I also just stopped working downtown not too long ago as well so I never get into the city as much as I used to. Though I did just have a wonderful dinner at Poppy (in Cap hill) last night. I highly recommend it!

I love QA- I lived there as a child and have great memories:)

I used to live in Greenwood but moved to Shoreline when my son needed some special school assistance the Shoreline was better equiped to handle. I've heard incredible things about Poppy since they opened and have been dying to try it. We like QA too but it's getting a little more commercial which makes me sad.

It is getting that vibe isn't it? :(

Yes, Poppy was great! And not as expensive as I was thinking it would be (my boss gave me a $100 gc). My bf and I got an apetizer, split a $23 bottle of wine, each had a 7 item Thali (not the 10 item- and we still took home leftovers) for $25 each and a dessert Thali (ice cream, a torte and then 8 mini dessert pieces) for $15 and our total inc tax was $105. (we paid tip out of pocket). And that was splurging! lol. You can totally skip the apetizer, alocohol and sweets and its not too pricey. The service there is great and it was neat to look out in the garden to see where they grow their veggies:)

I'm excited to go back in the spring/summer when the menu is different.

:offtopic: - sorry all!

DH and I have a trip planned for Feb 4th to the 6th at the VGC. Without the pesky teenagers!

Liza

Well, I play a lot of games, do a lot of exchanges and read and post on a lot of the other boards too.

I just moved to AZ from WA....north of Seattle and still have a house there, so still consider myself a Washingonian too.
But it is nice to be able to drive to DLR from my house in AZ. Feb. will be the third time doing that.

Aloha,

My DSis and I will be at the Mouse from 2/24-3/5 sans kids and we can't wait!!! We're trying to get over our guilt for leaving the kids home this time around. Any suggestions??

Lady O

ETA: We're staying at Hojo's this time around!
