Just go prepared. Rainjackets and boots. That was our main problem...our clothes and feet were wet. That's miserable.

I just got DD a rain jacket and boots for Christmas.. she hasn't had the chance to wear them.. she will be excited... I just placed a few bids on ebay for ponchos too lol

Just teasing. Seattle has a long-standing joke about keeping Californians away...back in the 90's Californians were flocking to the Seattle area and buying property which seriously jacked the real estate market. It's never really gone back down, either. I still remember people wearing T-Shirts that said "Welcome to Seattle. Now go home."

My husband forwarded me an article today that Seattle is the 2nd worst value for buying a house vs. renting in the country. Neat, huh?

The county we live in is amongst the worst in the nation for foreclosures and loans being underwater. Something has to give.

Wow, lots of people going to Disneyland in February! I will be there the end of February as well. Touringplans is giving me a minor heart attack with the predicted crowds, but we will have a good time regardless.

I think we will do the Fantasmic dessert thing, which I didn't even know about until I started reading here! And we definitely want to see World of Color. And we are eating at Club 33 as well. I've been meaning to post to this thread! We are only two weeks away!! February 4th - 7th staying at the GCH to celebrate my DH's birthday!! My favorite ride Splash Mountain will be closed but otherwise we are sooo looking forward to the trip!!

ArchOwl--if you're going to be there on the 21st, and have kids between 11 and 18, a group of us are trying to set up a YES Animation class--the Disney tickets through YES are steeply discounted, and include the neat class as well. PM me or mydisneyobsession if you're interested.
